    A must-have for living off-griddle.

    The raised logo should have been on the side lip on the griddle as it makes it harder to clean.

    Bought them yesterday, 44,50€ in Belgium, and now just waiting and then testing them. Thanks Andy.

    What a great idea if you can't have a fire on the ground, might have to invest in one, thanks Andy

      Also very useful for keeping a fire off wet or frozen ground. As for hand-warming, the cast iron will continue to radiate heat for a while.

    Awesome bit of kit for a backyard bushcraft setup👌 seeing the bacon and eggs sizzle reminded me of the breakfast you done on slate which inspired me to do my own. So for that I would like to say thank you. Definitely made it taste better. Take care mate. Si

    Andy, just a small point, it would help your views if you put the name of the product in the title of the video, help people find your helpful reviews :-)

    Cool piece of gear, Andy. Sadly, they don't sell them on this side of the Pond yet.

      If your side of the pond is the US, Bayou Classic makes a similar 17" cast iron griddle with detachable legs.

    Looks awesome for the price!! Too bad I can't find one for sale here in the US. Shipping from your side of the pond is more than the cost of the pan. :) Great review!

      That was huge, I liked the smaller one you reviewed last year, this years been real shit so far for camping of any kind so I'm glad I didn't spend £200 on a battery pack.

    🤠👏👏👏❗️Now this I really like😍. Carry handles are a good addition too. I'm guessing that if you work out the screw-pitch/size on the legs you can knock-up some different height & wider foot options / blanking plugs. If you're going to provide Robens any feedback, tell them to start selling in USA & Australia 😍🤠👏👏👏❗️

    Hi Andy, I've just got myself one of these to use as a fire pan - can I ask, did you still wash and season the one you used for a fire pan before using? Just wondering what to do with mine. Cheers, love the videos and often refer back to older ones for reference, like this one!

    Cracking design, love cast iron, my go to camp and home cooking gear. I was not a fan of the legs Andy. I would have preferred a chunkier screw in or fold out solution, think railway spike girth and design. Apart from that, cracking. Robens's get your team together and knock out carry cases for these, like High Country provide for their fold out steel camp plates. Nothing worse than getting soot and charged grease onto the back of the car carpet or plastic.

    10KGs for the two of em nah yse a flat stone instead :D
    I also dont like the screw in legs in case muck or something get in them they will became useless.

    Hi Kent .. It's not easier to make a fire on the ground and to use than a single cast iron plate ??. Easy to clean and more practical. Otherwise I like your videos. .. Thank you ..

    • @kentsurvivalgearreview586
      @kentsurvivalgearreview586  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      theres a lot of situations where a ground fire is not safe or permitted, its just another option I guess, I enjoyed using it for sure :) cheers for watching Dan
