You're bringing back a lot of memories for this old timer. I was always lucky in finding hot spots in the Sierra Nevada mts. I actually made a very good living at it for several summers of outdoor living. And the fishing was incredible, from catch to plate in 12 minutes. You can't get it any fresher.

yeah lots of things I wish werent in the video like grunting while flipping over a .01 ounce nugget after silently moving boulders, or attacking a random nugget with a pick that's already lose for 10 seconds for no reason when the bottle is ready to grab it, that nugget should file charges for emotional damages.
In Ireland we say "how's the crack lads?" an we, D usually reply "the crack I'd mighty" crack meaning fun and not the drug!!! So in this case that crack was definitely mighty! 😉✌️

Also quick question is those yellow stripes on those large rocks gold veins or something else? Ive never personally seen gold veins so idk if thats there look or not 6:00mark

I had a couple claim jumping and they actually put it online as an adventure, and their "secret" trove. Lol When I called them, rather than being apologetic, they were rude and defiant. I had intended to offer them written permission as hobby gold miners, but instead, just warned them to stay off, no more warnings.

You need to get yourself a pair of tweezers and make a holder for them to put on your snuffer bottle! I recommend a camp cooker and kettle so you can make yourself hot drinks, and take magic heat packs to put in your wetsuit :) Also if you're taking an Australian outdoors and it's below 25c you really need to take a heat lamp, and if it's longer than an hour they will need timtams and beer for sustenance!

Also if you're taking an Australian outdoors and it's below 25c you really need to take a heat lamp, and if it's longer than an hour they will need timtams and beer for sustenance!
