Really great video Pauly! Just a little feedback since you weren't sure... the mats weren't going in well because you actually had them backwards. That tab that was hanging off the end should slide under the hold down strip at the top of the sluice box. Think of it like roof shingles where the upper sections overlap the lower ones to keep the water and material running on top and inside the riffles. They still work backwards but they're not quite as efficient. Everything else looked pretty decent because the system is very forgiving. It's been really fun watching you dial it in, you'll be a pro in no time! Can't wait to see more!
Here in Canada, gold walks backwards so it worked even better! 😅

After watching the hard work that goes into mining and extracting precious metals like gold, I understand why my old man always said that the stock market is the closest man has gotten yet to alchemy. Creating stupendous amounts of money out of thin air. Humanity always wanted it easy lol!
Hahaha. Very true. The big brains behind that money machine sure do know how they did it.
Not so fast. I have done my fair bit of prospecting in there. Lost over $30,000. I can conclusively say that it didn’t PAN OUT well for me :)
Lol. Tell that to the Warren Buffet’s and Charlie Munger’s. Actually some others are good. Cathy Wood predicted a rise in oil prices due to the Ukraine situation. My own adviser Mary Elizabeth Huxley also predicted that precious metals will go up during a recession after the pandemic. My portfolio has grown over $400,000 in 8 months so I guess some are better at prospecting stocks than others

She’s as personal as it can get. Worked in Merrill Lynch and manages private por,tfolios. She’s the best bet if you are looking for something personal. I can't drop her number here but she has a public cntact website where you can reach her

Set highbanker sluice angle between 11* to 13* and level across, remove any bubbles. The angle depends on the flow of water your pump puts out, fast will blow the gold out, too slow and you pack the riffles with sand. adjust as you run...
11 to 13 degrees is a bit steep. I have this exact highbanker but in black, and I run it with good results anywhere between 9 -10.5 degrees in coarser gold country, and probably less steep if I was just working flour gold.

Great video!! Nice gold!! Thinking about getting pay dirt to the high banker. Maybe a five gallon bucket. Less back and forth walking. Save some time and some energy. Also maybe before putting the mats in check for level by pouring in some water to see how the water travels down. May lose less gold that way if any was lost. Keep up the videos.

Well hell yes do more highbanking of that spot so the bottom of the pile was mostly overburden but since there’s gold innit it worth running and obviously the top of the pile was closest to bedrock so that explains the difference in quantity (or it could be that the mats clog up less running them backward therefore catching more gold instead of it rolling out of the packed riffles….🤔 regardless you got good gold so it’s a great spot and since native Americans believe butterfly’s are good luck that’s why there was more in the first run… speaking of which that was a giant swallowtail (😳😂funny name) butterfly they are mostly native to the USA but on occasion they travel north to southern Canada (for the gold of course) I really like that highbanker looking forward to seeing your version of it (I’m sure it will sell like hotcakes and you’ll be richerest…) great adventure and gold deposit area thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼

Love it Pauly! It's a lot of work. For your first time with a High Banker, that wasn't too bad. Try a .060 Screen clarifier on the end of the water pour to catch the flour. But it looks like a productive site. And compared to fighting river current and not drowning, as you get older, it'll end up being a great option for your passion!.

Great video, would love to see more highbanking content from you! Bring a hard rake and/or 4 prong cultivator to rake out anything bigger than a golf ball. Fill buckets with the pay gravel, make a giant pyramid pile by your highbanker, and you'll be cooking with gas. I have the exact Crux highbanker, (in black) with the lightweight white forestry hose (which is awesome), plastic fittings and 1" Honda pump you do, and the system can handle a lot of material. I have yet to 'outshovel' the highbanker, its capacity to process material is way greater than my available time and/or energy!
