ZZR 1100 New years Eve Ride. Pt 2 Impact of accident on confidence.

Second video of yesterdays NYE ride. The injuries from the accident may have got much better but there is also a psychological aspect I had never expected. Happily, this ride (of 260km) had me feeling back to my old self.

Came off my 1988 Kawasaki ZX10 B1 tomcat in 1992 aged 27 broken collar bone broken ribs punctured lung. I did the same as you repaired my bike and was riding within a month or so although in some pain. Young and foolish. Anyway 32 years later I'm still riding my collarbone still aches periodically and I've still got the lump where the bones knitted back together. I've still got a ZX10 B1 although another one plus a 93 ZZR1100D1 same as yours. Keep up the good work love your videos. All the best from UK.

Hi mate, thanks for the comment. I also had a ZX10. It was red/black and white. Great machine. Like you I suspect, nothing will ever stop me riding, cant even imagine it. Ride fast mate. 🙂
