I do Franconia ridge every year, driving 11 hours there and 11 more back to Ohio for fall foliage. I promise it’s worth doing over and over. It’s a tough hike, especially for us Midwest people but man starting before dawn and getting to the peak for sunrise is a sanctuary.
I love that you stopped in Woodstock, VT? My 5th Great Grandfather owned 1000 acres there in town and further out, and served as an officer during the Revolutionary War. His name was Hoisington and I SO WANT to be in that town and have someone older than me give me more history than I know! ❤🎉😅

We have just returned from a trip around the Hampshire's, Vermont and the Berkshires. It is truly stunning scenery. Every bit as beautiful as captured in this video. We're planning to return to the White Mountains as we didn't have much time there. I love the white mountains we have a ski house in North Conway. I grew up skiing there every weekend holds a special place in my heart. Now that I have kids it’s awesome to see them love it as much as I did growing up😊

Suzette used to bake bread which we devoured ! Now I am the cook, heat and EAT…as I don’t use her 1,000plus Cookbooks or Big oven or Epicurious….haha!
