Unless there is maybe a health situation involved , l would never ever sell this beautiful place. I would spend the rest of my life right here. Maybe with the occasional visiting the city or having family out for beautiful family time....l would never leave this beautiful slice of heaven. I wish l had plenty of money l would have bought on site. I hope if it has sold someone who loves it passionately will take care of it. It's gorgeous. The only thing I would change is I would put a small bathroom in the upper level bedroom area. There is a section there than can be converted into a bathroom. I wouldn't want guests to get up in the middle of the night and walk down a flight of stairs to use the bathroom.
Not livable for full-time, The floor plan is horrible, the electric bill would be expensive with so many windows, no attached garage for Vermont snow, no bedroom on main floor.

Except a stone walkway from the car park to the porch. The way it is now if it rains their shoes will get muddy and they will track it onto the porch and inside the house. 😉

Main bath off the kitchen not connected to the bedroom, so you have to traipse through the living areas not to mention steam and odors right there in the kitchen. Pantry and big freezer is down below not practical. No way off that deck to the yard. Big wasted space area downstairs where the double doors are. Too tight dining room better to switch it with the living area. I'm just getting cranked up. It looks very good, great atmosphere but not a practical house at all.

What an absolutely beautiful well thought out and well-executed home. If it is for sale it is worth every penny! Everything you could possibly want in a home is there plus some.
List Price: $895,000! It is sold. Just as well, since that's WAY above my budget, not to mention you'd spend all day EVERY day just doing the minimum yard work needed to maintain it. Lovely place, tho, and with great finishes! Would be fun to have friends "up to the lake" for the weekend!

Not surprised how quickly it sold! I've come back, a couple of times, just to re-watch and enjoy this video. It's a take-your-breath-away dream house. I'm even ignoring that it has no tub. I'd just buy a tin one, and have it hang on a hook in the backyard. Whenever I wanted a bath, I'd bring it in and pretend I'm still a kid in England. xD
