yeah its acid I use this to clean my aluminum dump trailer for my 18 wheeler no way im spraying this on my atv as long as you keep it clean after each ride it will stay new looking like mine got 700 + miles been through tons of mud but it still looks like it just came off the show room floor because I pressure wash it ever time i get it home it has never had mud n dirt on it over night ever!
@@jovanygarcia2473 I soak a rag with vinegar, spray down motor with vinegar and then lay the rag over it and let sit over night. Or use a brush and soak it with vinegar and brush the places you want cleaned. Vinegar won't hurt plastics or rubber parts like acid can. Cleans parts very well without the worries of damaging other things.
This stuff doesnt rust the non aluminum bolt heads or anything like that? I used something similar in the past and it would cause anything that was steel to start rusting
Super helpful thanks! Question I just picked up a used outlander and the red fender plastics front and rear are all scratched. Did you paint yours or touch it up at all?
Do you think it would get old caked on oil off the motor. I'm doing a rebuild and basically rebuilding the entire engine. But it's got caked on oil. Thank you
What did you end up finding that worked good? Cleaning up an 88 Yamaha motor 4 350 currently and go back and forth between WD-40 and other random shit I have lying around but still on the hunt for a good all purpose cleaner for older stuff like this that can actually clean oil and gunk but also protect after so it doesn't rust.
Thanks man! I have a Yamaha raptor 250 sport quad and this method cleaned the engine up really well, you were very descriptive!👍🏼
No problem! Thanks!
Wow. That stuff is awesome. I'm cleaning my machine for the first time. The motor is a mess. Thank you very much. I'll get a bottle of that stuff.
Its good stuff
Looks like I’ll be stopping by Napa today and breaking out the pressure washer!
That cleaned up really nice! Great idea! Thanks for sharing.
No problem!
HOLY SHIT !!! I need to find some of that stuff here in Canada.
Looks AWESOME
It works good!
Man that stuff works super good!!!
Awesome video! Very informative and satisfying
That aluminum cleaner is impressive. It doesn't affect the plastics in any way if it gets on them I guess? I'll pick some up for sure.
If I get it on plastic I just get it off quick! I'm sure it will damage it if it stays on there.
Definitely wouldn’t be putting that stuff in my wiring harness, or pressure washing it for that matter haha.
Looking good! Vinegar will also clean the aluminum and wont destroy seals, plastics and other things that chemicals might destroy.

@@alphapackoffroad HMM. And i just throw it on there for the same amount of time?

Iv never had that problem but I don't use it but every once in a while
Thank you for this video!!!
No problem!
Looks great! Thanks:-)
My motor sat in the water and rusted. How do I remove the rust and get it back
That's one thing iv never experienced. What machine do you have?
I'm going to get some. Thanks.
Great video!
Thanks!
Super helpful thanks! Question I just picked up a used outlander and the red fender plastics front and rear are all scratched. Did you paint yours or touch it up at all?
Iv ran some finishing polish on the with a buffer once
LC Powersports awesome thanks! Was wondering how yours had the shine like that thanks!
@@jonathanlapinsky1218 no problem man
Do you have to use a pressure washer or can I get by with just a garden hose?
Garden hose will work also!
I’ve heard this will strip the coating off the bolts and make them rust. Any issues at all with it?
It will if you use it all the time I may do it once a year maybe and don't leave it on for long!
Hell yeah
Thanks
Holly shit thanks this is what im talking about spray on power wash off done !! The hell with scrubbing!!
Is it okay if you put it on the middle of your rad with the bristles
They make a cleaner just for that
We're are you located
Mississippi
Genius

Man! That stuff works great. Ima have to try it out.
Yeah man it's good for a once a year clean up
Looks like it doesn't take much product either. Bet that bottle last a while
Definitely I don't use it but maybe once a year if it needs it!
Does it say not to get it on plastic?
I don't think it says not to but I wouldn't try it on anything I liked haha
omg isnt that acid
Something like it Haha
Genius since that type of acid doesn't react to plastic.
I wouldn't leave it on plastic I always wash it right off if it gets on it.
Just let yer CrapAm look like the POS it’s meant to be. But, I’ll do my Hondas with that cleaner this weekend. Thanks.
