✎ He played college football for the University of Florida. In 2008, Tebow led Florida to a 13-1 record and its second national championship in three years. Tebow was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft and spent two seasons with the team. Despite his success with the Broncos- lead the team to the playoffs-he did not start in another NFL game. In 2016, Tebow announced he would pursue a career in professional baseball and signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets. In his first at-bat with the Mets, on September 28, 2016, Tebow hit a home run on the first pitch. Tebow began the 2017 season with the Columbia Fireflies of the Class A South Atlantic League. Tebow is known for his outspoken Christian faith. He was the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy.

Lived in Denver 28 years...when Tim played for the Broncos the City of Denver came alive! Big time! There was this Tebow vibe all over Denver. No joke! The fans were going crazy! After Elway left the team...the thrills were gone for a long while until Tim showed up.. football- the Broncos became alive again...the fans became alive again...it was surreal. Surreal that one player could cause such a stir in the city and in the game. Tim will ways be a legend in my mind.
