Ha ha... there's a 3rd choice Found an old hand tool a rusted weed chopper across the road in the woods. Took it home and sharpened with a metal grinder wheel and use like a golf club. Chopped down 2 giant rows of Japanese knotweed growing out of the creek about 8 to 10 ft tall. The reason being the state comes through when it's really tall and they heavily spray weed killer. When it's chopped down they don't spray that area. I'm sure it has improved my golf swing, but i don't golf.... ⛳ Nick, love how you are ready to fix everything and anything at all times. 🛠️🗜️🪚⏳
Nice fix. I have had such trouble with gas weed eaters, and I am a pretty good mechanic that I switched to an 80 volt battery unit and it has worked out great. Have a great day my friend.

Great video Nick…… A point to be made, if I may……hold onto that older KM model…..the new ones have eliminated the grease port on the head…..yep, even Stihl is starting to cut corners…..I hate saying that cause I love Stihl tools. Seems like everyone eliminates quality and heads to use and trash….buy new. Cry’n Shame. I always change the fuel filters every new season too. Appreciate ya taking the time to put this out 👍👏🇺🇸 Rick

My guess is the reason it runs like shit.....is because you have old or shit gas in the unit.
