Interesting video, these make a tad more power than a mk3 with the same mods. Mine was 320 with the stage yours is at for 340. Off to rstuning tomorrow to collect mine with a full build, running big boy numbers now
Hello I'm impressed .last time we spoke u were gonna try and get a old vs new comparison set up .my mk3 has 344.2bhp with 366.4 lbs so it would be interesting to see how to different cars face each other and tuned by the same tuner.ps don't think anybody has done a mk4 vs mk3 without subtitles lol

@@simbo5681 people are far too concerned about straight line speed mate thats why. Your golf r's etc may be quicker on straights, but round any b roads or tracks you'd have Renaultsports all over you

@@simbo5681 the mk4 clios are definitely slept on mate, but its a very different formula to the mk3. I've never actually driven a mk3 clio, always wanted to... They feel alot more 'daily trackable' if you know what i mean, a bit softer... I had a 172 before the mk4 and i think between the mk2, mk3 and mk4 they all feel different to drive. My 172 was very playful, the mk4 was much more planted and serious but not as stiff.
I don't mate i just left him to it as he's the wizard!! 😂 I can ask him for you though if you would like to know? The boost was definitely upped because i made 50ish bhp and running 480ish nm's of torque

It seems to be common for these to underperform dude! Mine made 290 pre map, with a cat back and intake... Not far off but 297 claimed spec, but now running 340ish is different levels 😍 did a video before this when i mapped that, look for 'road to remap' series on my channel 👊
@@jessechen998 I'm running around 490nm's with absolutely no issues. I've been told they can differ but RSTUNING never push the clutches to slip so the tune is always left in a safe place torque wise. The manual can hold a bit more I've been told but aren't as reliable gearbox wise. As for temps, the car ran fine pull after pull on the Dyno at this power with this tune
Are you going to do another video with a stock trophy again to see what the difference is? Personally I would like to see how much difference it has made.

@@VersionOneUK Hello dear... I installed the spacer kit too on my Megane RS Trophy as suggested by you. In order to hear the sound a lot more, I just removed the black felt under the hood, it changes everything, you should try it also as I can see you still wearing it on your Meg. Cheers.

No idea mate! Will be worth doing some research i think and drop it in the forums. There isn't much out there even for the RS models so i would assume there isn't much demand for Gt line tunes... Will be definitely worth doing some research though

Hey mate! In the video i do state we made 336, 337 and 341, but Paul used the graph from the cleanest run, in the video you see the car do the 336 run in the video but as we did probably 15 odd runs things started getting hot as expected but the last 3 runs I mentioned above all within a couple bhp of each other.

@@johnboy2436 the 333 run wasn't the last run mate, it pulled 3 times above that afterwards, i just think he used the cleanest graph. I think if we kept doing runs it would have kept pulling between 330/340, the intercooler helped alot with the constant pulls. Each run was within a couple bhp of each other too so was happy with the consistency

@@alessandrocensi1299 the cars never let me down man... Renault don't leave much on the table as far as gains go, if you're really wanting to push it you'll need a hybrid turbo

Its not on in the last half of the video, i only had it on as paul was getting in and out the car for 3ish hours so always try to protect the alcantara as much as possible while the car has work done.

Yeah these don't make much more than the meg 3's, i think dropping 200cc's hasn't helped but it still moves well! Will do a mk3 ve mk4 vid soon 🙏

Do you recall what pressure the turbo is running at? Did you tweak that or is there nothing you can do with the stock unit?

How much torque can the EDC transmission hold? Did it ever over heat when the car running on this HP Nd torque?

Was running rich only due to the downpipe though... That's what needed the most adjustment on the tune

I'd personally go for the lower mileage mate... The differences between phase 1 and 2 are very minimal

One quest, did you still having the dcat error on the dash? Or you asked your tuner to delete it
All error codes are gone. Dash is clear mate since the tune
