@@jessechen998 I'm running around 490nm's with absolutely no issues. I've been told they can differ but RSTUNING never push the clutches to slip so the tune is always left in a safe place torque wise. The manual can hold a bit more I've been told but aren't as reliable gearbox wise. As for temps, the car ran fine pull after pull on the Dyno at this power with this tune

@@SleepersGarage_k11 the MK3 is probably the most popular granted, and they pushed the MK4 trophy R so much because it was going for the ring record that the MK4 got slept on and now people are waking up to that. I've been a fan of french hatches for a long LONG time and it all started with a Peugeot 106 GTI 😂

Driven all three incarnations, and the mk2 is the superior of all imo for pure driving experience!

The MK2 does feel very light and agile, but the MK3 does feel more potent power wise over the MK2, just simply because they map up around 320bhp + very easily. The MK4 is deceivingly fast as it's build quality is far superior. I was convinced the MK3 was the fastest of the 3, but I know several people with experience with all the platforms and they assure me the MK4 is the fastest, which realistically it should be being a strong 8-10k more expensive than the 3 and being the newest car of the 3.

@@FlawlessEZ it is mate yes. There are many differences over the 280 but MK4 means it's the 4th version of the Mégane, basically the 4th generation.

@@FlawlessEZ the 2020 is a MK4 mate. Mk5 is the latest electric wardrobe that they offer 🤢 My car is a 2019 model pre facelift

@@FlawlessEZ facelift is easy to tell by the different headlights and rear lights, and interior. The facelift has a larger, cleaner interior screen with a fully digital dash

👍. We're thinking about selling our stock meg rs 280 auto. Do you reckon it's a good idea or will they go up in value someday?

@@SleepersGarage_k11 unsure ATM mate to be honest as the market is all over the place... The trophys are still fetching good money so I guess it just depends on spec etc. The EDC will help resale value as it's normally 1/2k more if it's auto and high spec. It also depends what you're looking at next as there aren't many exciting options to replace the meg

@@VersionOneUK yes the most aggressive - the one that can spin the car if you don’t hold opposit . If it’s not put right or setup the preload right can damage a lot . True story

@@dylhutch you can always make your car look more sporty dude but personally I wouldn't recommend pumping a lot of money into a car that'll never be an RS. Just enjoy what you have for a while and save up because it'll probably end up costing you as much to make it look like one as if you were to buy an actual RS.

Depends how much money you want to spend. But if you just do catless downpipes + hybrid turbos or a single turbo and some E. You’ll be nearly there.

@@sameftek9799 no mate, get a squeak out of them VERY rarely. Brake dust is better than the brembos i had but I don't get away with a lot being on a lighter colour wheel 😅

I understand your predicament mate but the only thing that should really come into it is price. The meganes not just faster, it's better in every way to the Clio (besides mpg 😂) and I think the Clio sounded better personally... Now that's not to say the Clio is a bad car at all, I absolutely loved mine but the level up in build quality, performance (not just speed but handling etc) valved exhaust, built in screen, android auto/apple car play, the EDC in the meg is better too due to now not being dry clutches... The list goes on mate. If you only have the budget for the Clio and want to throw some money at it then you'll love it, but the Mégane is like I say, a level up in almost every way (and rightfully so it costs 12k more 😂)

@@tigranes. 100%! Not even in the same league... However I imagine the Michelins do comfort better, but this is by no means crashy and horrible. I guess I have the benefit of dropping to an 18 so I have a bit more tyre on the rim but they've been solid for me, responsiveness and direct feel was literally instant

I have no idea dude! I know they can be ticky on idle/start up but if theres no faults I guess you'll be ok? Especially if there's no loss of power

The car has been up to able speeds and it's not even dropped 1mm 😂🫣 Double sided for placement and the guided screws are absolutely plenty mate, also means you don't have to drill wide bore holes for the hardware that comes with the splitter but it's absolutely your call!

@@VersionOneUK thanks for the reply, Just looking into it for my son, he bought it without seeing the history so I did a check with Renault and turns out no service since June 22 and this is when it had the work done. Advised him to try get his money back as sold with full service history and who knows what damaged has been caused with 2 yr old oil, last year of warranty is void so hopefully whatever caused the failure has was found and rectified not just slapped new gear on

I don't use launch control, it just spins the wheels... It's much easier to brake boost and much more effective
