TARPON SEASON - Tampa Tarpon Fishing with Live Bait

In this video, I set out fishing for big tarpon using live bait along a Tampa Bay area beach during their early summer migration up the west coast of Florida. These fish are only in this area for a couple months (May-August) and create a great challenge for saltwater anglers of all skill levels. After trying all kinds of techniques this summer, I had the most success fishing at sunrise with live pinfish 4-5' under a bobber while positioned roughly 50 yards off the beach waiting for these schools of fish to cruise by.
