The problem with MSRP is that it doesn't tell the whole story. Rolex is a great brand, but if you were to buy their GMT in 1960 it would run you less than 1k (adjusted to inflation). Watch prices have been inflated for a long time, but with the current soft market you'll see prices stagnant and producers freeze increases.

Most of the time they're just a collection of parts that other brands already made. So yes, if they source everything from china and use a generic eta or eta clone movement that they generously rename and proceed to throw "swiss made" on the dial, it's a shitter. If you want to buy it, all power to you but don't go around claiming it's some quality timepiece with real heritage or that it's a "better bang per buck than a rolex or omega" like alot of these youtubers do.

Brands like Frank Muller & Richard mille are ultra expensive does that mean these brands are good? To me they are shitters with no basic history and one of them have to "partner" AP to bring up the brand.
