Advice: the only thing worst then having a job, is not having a job. Don't ever depend on anybody for your happiness. You yourself should be enough to be happy.

I'm a year older than Archie, and he's right about much of it. I'll give you the full boogie...
Don't get married until you've figured out how to be with a woman. That means how to be a leader, and a giver. Having standards, and applying them right from the beginning. If you CAN figure the woman thing out, hold out for a good one, then stay committed and don't fuck it up. You'll be happier, live longer, etc. Make sure you share a common vision and common values, and enjoy sharing life together.
Memories and experiences, together with good relationships will eventually surpass all other things of value that you own.
Create good health habits if you don't have them already.
    Habits > Talent.
It's better to have a middling level of money and understand what true QUALITY means, than to be rich and have no taste. Quality inputs to your life, your mind, your spirit and your body often don't require great wealth, just great choices. The music you listen to, the way you spend your free time, what you learn....all of that goes into creating your overall self.
Don't be afraid to change. If you don't like what your life is, go out and look for something else. Go somewhere else, be something else. Especially when you're younger, it'll take a while to figure all this out. The number one reason to not get married young is that you need the freedom and flexibility to make life changes without worrying about shitting on someone else's life, or them shitting on yours.
Upgrade. If your tastes aren't evolving, then you aren't evolving.
Between the ages of 40-60 is the best time of life for a man, if you have your health, and are on the path of personal evolution.
Educate yourself. What you get in school and college is shit. Read the classics, travel to see some real art, learn an instrument, a foreign language. Master your ability to use the English language. Learn about money and the law, even if these aren't connected to your profession.
Don't be dominated by either fear or desire. Control yourself.
Cultivate your ability to perceive things below the surface, with ever more nuance. Quality thinking is a skill you can develop if you focus on it.
Be fair-minded and clear about what your ethics are. Circumscribe your own actions, and you'll never worry about others circumscribing them for you.
If you've stumbled upon this advice, congratulations.

Some women have no decency, no couth, no morals and no class. They are quick to point out a man's flaws and call him a piece of shit, but they are also quick to hitch themselves to his wagon. Women like to pretend that they're independent, but their actions always prove the opposite.

    Advice for 2022:
    1. Get insurance Archie that covers all of your house contents including watches and luxury goods.
    2. Don't get into an expensive lease plan for a BMW you don't need.
    3. Don't beg for money over the internet through superchats. The cry poverty and take trips to the UK and America.
    4. Stay with Tim Write as a friend and colleague. His channel is way better.
    5. Save money for a rainy day. There will be a recession in 2023.
    6. Learn to stay healthy. You look like you'll have a heart attack. Exercise and skip all the junk food you self-medicate with.

Patience. Try to put big tasks in writing. Have something of extreme value that you own straight out, that you can look at and feel good daily. Such as a 26" 14k 8mm solid gold rope chain. Yet stay humble. Also you need motivation to avoid plateauing. Stash is a great app for investment account, fractional shares.

You cannot give a blanket advice to save 10% of your total earnings, the truth is that people on low income/ middle income may have to invest more than 10% of their earnings and still may not be enough. Save more spend less, that true but divorce is one of the easiest route to poverty, stay in marriage if you want to be successful. Generally good advice Archie.

Mr. Pluta - I have pretty much been an a-hole to you in my comments as you have been p-ing me off lately. That said - your message to this young man was heart felt and I compliment you Sir. I really wish you would do more of this good work and take care of yourself and be god to yourself. I am a bit older than you Archie and I have done much of the same crap you have done in your life. Some advice - you will be far more happy when you stop the non-sense and sue the mind that God blessed you with. If you are not careful - you may turn out to be a pretty good bloke before it is too late. I am working to do the same Sir. As you say many times - life is short and it is much more than luxury watches. Your heartfelt advice is much more of a "lifetime achievement" than a Patek. Believe me. Get your crap together Arch - I am staring to like you..... From a concerned but encouraged Gringo from the States.....

I'm very well off but I never married and live a lonely existence... I've never worn anything more than once the same evern with my socks, shirts, I allow all my new used clothes to charitys.

3 years later......another important piece of the puzzle: Don't let yourself get involved in other people's drama. Some folks out there have a talent for making THEIR problems YOUR problems too. And there's always some kind of drama happening in their lives. Unless its someone you're morally responsible for, or some kind of exception, DON'T GET DRAWN IN!
