One reason why there is such a variety from around the world,is because omega, longines and other brands would try to produce watches that met the taste and fashions of certain countries, where there was a big market. The brands would work closely with importers of those countries. This was something I learned while reading a book about longines movements, called longines movements-at the heart of an industrial vocation.....long title 😊
Guten Tag! Ein Klasse Video haben Sie gemacht👍 Ich bin Sammler von Vintage Omega und Zenith Uhren und man kann sehr viel von Ihnen lernen! Bitte machen Sie weiter so und ich freue mich auf ihr nächstes Video! 👍🙂
Hi Sao, exactly, my watch Seamaster De Ville has the Ross stamp and the KL6610 case reference and is 14K solid yellow gold. Many thanks for your feedback.
Interesting and beautiful, again. Many thanks. I really gravitate towards the Swedish watches, but the Fab Suisse in the box is spectacular as well! Many thanks.
Oh yes, absolutely. You can find the Ross stamp inside some of these NM pieces. One of the more commonly seen examples is their Seamaster De Ville, ex. Reference KL 6610
Derek, I am surprised that the word "Globemaster" was a trademark issue ? Otherwise, maybe they should take legal action against Boeing ? Perhaps there was something else about the watch, which was a trademark infringement, excepting the name ?
Apparently, the name is the main and only reason. There is a nice article to read if you’re interested to dive deeper into the topic: omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.com/2006/08/globemaster-son-of-constellation.html?m=1
Great review of the exclusivity of the various country markets.
Many thanks! Hopefully, I can create a part two one day.
