One reason why there is such a variety from around the world,is because omega, longines and other brands would try to produce watches that met the taste and fashions of certain countries, where there was a big market.
The brands would work closely with importers of those countries.
This was something I learned while reading a book about longines movements, called longines movements-at the heart of an industrial vocation.....long title 😊

I agree. It's about tastes, in different countries.

Fantastic and unique collection and my favourite in this video were the gold ones from France, just beautiful. Great video!

Hi Sao, exactly, my watch Seamaster De Ville has the Ross stamp and the KL6610 case reference and is 14K solid yellow gold. Many thanks for your feedback.

Interesting and beautiful, again. Many thanks. I really gravitate towards the Swedish watches, but the Fab Suisse in the box is spectacular as well! Many thanks.

Thank you! I do feel the Fab Suisse pieces are the number one choice for most viewers. Haha

Hi Sao, was the Ross American watch case manufacturer in addition to the Norman Morris American watch case manufacturer? Kind Regards

Oh yes, absolutely. You can find the Ross stamp inside some of these NM pieces. One of the more commonly seen examples is their Seamaster De Ville, ex. Reference KL 6610

Derek, I am surprised that the word "Globemaster" was a trademark issue ? Otherwise, maybe they should take legal action against Boeing ?
Perhaps there was something else about the watch, which was a trademark infringement, excepting the name ?

Apparently, the name is the main and only reason.
There is a nice article to read if you’re interested to dive deeper into the topic: omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.com/2006/08/globemaster-son-of-constellation.html?m=1

Don’t think any watch can pass through customs
