"Arte Moreno doesn't know what he's doing" Just imagine how different baseball history would have been if he actually did 😢😭 Being an Angels fan is suffering
I’m an Angels fan. If Esteves, Anderson, Ward are still playing here after the deadline I will be so upset. I even think Rengifo should be traded too. Go get some guys ready for the show next year or 2026.
The amount of potential that Arte has thrown away by not capitalizing on good trades and building a decent roster is honestly so bad now that all you can do is bitterly chuckle at what could've been
The angels go on these mini hot stretches and give Arte hope that there is a good team if “everything goes right.” The thing is, nothing ever goes right and there is a severe lack of depth. Perry hasn’t been perfect but you have to imagine how different things would be if he truly had full reign on decision making. Apparently he had “Juan Soto level” packages in hand for shohei the last two seasons and Arte squashed them. SMH
Do the Angels trade Arte Moreno at the deadline? I’ve heard that some teams are desperate for a bad owner that spends money then cuts payroll and thinks it will fix everything
I’m curious if any players on the teams talk to each other about the deadline at all? For example, you said you think the Orioles are fine with their playoff rotation, would a current player on any team ever say they think they need an upgrade in the rotation? Or say they think they need an upgrade at RF? Or would they just focus on the team they have and if a trade happens it happens?
Glasnow just went on the DL today, after this video came out. I can't see the Dodgers staying put with their beleaguered pitching staff at the deadline.
Crochet as a closer for a team could be fun if he only has so many innings remaining this year. Cubs could sell Belli, Tauchman and maybe pitching? Not sure who they have TBH.
regarding your ASG pitchers skills competition. an idea i had was a Knuckleball challenge. they could use superslowmo cameras and measure the break and spin rate. they get like 5 or 6 throws.
Trevor, where did you learn the info on Crochet about his pitch count? Didn’t see that til the manager said it .. also the stuff with crochet is so confusing, dude is a stud why not have him as an ace?
Trevor, love your content. Do you think the white Sox buy and sell at the deadline? Trade pitchers for bats and get some major league players for next year to try to contend?
I'd like to see the O's make a deal with the Rangers for Max and David Robertson. Given their ages and salaries, I think they would come (relatively) cheap.
Don’t see the Rangers giving up that easy. Maybe Dave is gone, Scherzer is staying. I honestly could totally see the O’s going for Luzardo and Scott. Burnes and Means are free agents and I think giving the young starters more time to develop is for the better.
@@kyleganning7441 Not sure why people keep bringing up Luzardo, he's on the IL with a back injury and won't be healthy until well after the deadline. And unfortunately Max said today that he won't waive his no trade clause.
@@patrickdare5356 Luzardo has more years of eligibility left after this year, that does mean something. I think trade him with a piece if your the Marlins. It’s not a move that really helps a team this year. That’s why the team acquiring Luzardo would want to take on more than Jesus. It’s just a thought.
Giants should be active in a positive way. They’re playing better going into the break and they have so much of their staff coming back. Snell pitched great in his rehab starts and last start. Harrison just needs to settle in and then there’s both Cobb/Ray coming back soon. Just need another bat or 2 to go with Ramos, Bailey, Soler, & Wade. Conforto is swinging it well and so is Chapman despite lower BA’s. If they could get Vlad, he’d be one to go after. They need a SS too. Go get both Bo and Vlad. Bring em over to have a trio of former Jays for your infield. That would be funny. Probably not happening but they should try to get Vlad. Outside of that I’m not sure who they would go after. Jazz maybe but the Lee contract throws that off. We’re losing a lot of guys to FA so if we can pick up some years on guys this year, that could get us over a hump. Conforto could be trade bait with added value on him swinging it well now. Here’s what I’d offer to get Bo & Vlad. - Luciano or Wisely - Wilmer - Conforto and/or Yaz - young pitcher (maybe Birdsong, Black, Teng - maybe picks and cash to sweeten it or maybe they add a minor league RP
Roflmao Vladdy IS NOT on the market unless ownership is going to allow this beyond incompetent front office to literally destroy their franchise, & any income from it, for multiple decades 😉 Bo is all yours... terrible below average ss who puts himself before team always!
I don’t think the Orioles make a trade yet. I think they may swing one in the offseason but they’re waiting for free agency. Dean Kremer is up and down this season!
Seattle has proven they WILL buy when necessary, look at castillo that was a blockbuster at the time, yeah last year was disappointing but they didn't play well until days before the deadline, this year they've been in first for a little bit and have shown that a league average offense is winning 95+ games, I see them going for Chisholm and maybe a middle infielder
The issue is the Mariners ownership doesn’t want to overspend & to get anyone in this sellers market they will have to. If they get one person I would be satisfied but I suspect they just hold.
I can see the Rangers trading Max for some veteran pitcher that’s having a terrible year. Year left on the contract let Mike Maddux work his magic then trade him in the offseason or next season for something good.
As a Phillies fan, I'm very amused with every outfielder on the market being put in mock trades to the Phillies. Arozarena, Rooker, Robert, Chisholm, and Bellinger are all apparently getting traded to Philly at the deadline
To be honest, they’re such a complete team that it’s hard not to default to the OF because of the corner D. But really, if healthy, the Phils are a deep, experienced, bought in group. But, as you very well know, you can’t do nothing!
Sorry Vladdy isn't going anywhere unless ownership is willing to allow this incompetent front office to totally destroy their franchise, & any income from it, for multiple decades lol 😉
If I were Arte Moreno, with the way Mike Trout and his relationship with Moreno is going. I think it would be wise to move on from him now like say the Dodgers or his hometown Phillies
They do superhero movies because they believe it’s the best chance at money since it caters to adults and kids. These companies are traded publicly on the stock market so they don’t care if they put out some bad films. Why films suck now

Oh man, I hate to be this guy but you hit on a pet peeve. It is risk averse, not risk adverse. Two entirely different words with two entirely different meanings. And easy way to think of being risk averse is to say that you are averse to taking risks because you want to avoid adverse outcomes.

Me too brother!! I second everything you say here and I also second Trevor saying the angels don’t make savvy decisions. Arte SUCKS!!
I'd love to have Ward in Atlanta. Anderson is another interesting option since he has another year of control.
The amount of potential that Arte has thrown away by not capitalizing on good trades and building a decent roster is honestly so bad now that all you can do is bitterly chuckle at what could've been

Why in the world would the Guardians trade Gavin Williams when they need starting pitching? Makes no sense

If the white Sox asking price goes down, possible for Robert in Philly?
That would the best case scenario imo
Kevin Pillar would be a great addition to the Yankees, and almost anyone would be better than LeMahieu.
