Nadia, you’re bound to be nervous about the trek. But you are going with a great bunch of women and you all get on and you’re highlighting a very important cause. I know you’ll do well as you apply yourself to everything you do. Your tv show will be fab as you are doing what you love and what you’re so good at......cooking!! I can’t wait to see the show whenever it airs. Nanny Di looks great. So glad she’s recovering well.....but I’m sure she is tired...it takes a lot out of you. She probably just needs a wee break from all the hubbub of family life. Thank you for another great vlog. X
I do understand what Nanny Di is saying , if you don't feel great and need to rest sometimes you are better to be by yourself , sorry but your house can be a bit much

Why don't u get some sofa beds and get rid the mattress or a massive corner sofa that turns into a bed x

There are stacking beds in Ikea that would be great in your room. They can be stacked with mattresses on, configures in different ways like L shaped sofa etc. If your mattresses fit get them. If they don’t get Stephen to build some. They are very simple frames.
I’m not surprised Nanny Di has gone home She needs a rest and some quiet time and there’s none of that.
The godmother -Yeah, because laughter & banter within a loving family is terrible for the healing process.😉
Laughter and banter is one thing but Nanny Di herself said they never shut up and it gives her a headache. There was a lot of chaos going on and she’s had a general anaesthetic so it’s hardly surprising she wanted to go home for a bit of rest and recuperation

Watching this while sat in Birmingham children’s hospital waiting for my son to come out of theatre. If you have any unwanted toys the children’s hospitals will take them. Or try your local Ronald McDonald house charity, the toys bring the sick kids a bit of normality 💕💕

The house is looking fab, keep up the renovations. Nadia I would ask Lara if she could help you pack for your trip either going or FaceTime. She’s fab at organising and for a trek like yours it’s key that you have everything and it is logically packed. Will make life so much easier. Maybe packing cubes for each day x

@@janefriel6895 I know. It's a shame. I collect things from the sales during the year and then give to the giving tree's at Christmastime. I also get on sale perfume and toiletries for teenagers too, as all ages need something. I tended to only buy for the younger age group but then had a long chat with the manager at one of the local garden centres about how much older kids need help too.I would help everyone if I could. Mark would make a good Santa. Haha! It's a good idea of your's and I would definitely try to help. You seem very kind as well.x

Nadia, add a bit of yogurt in your muffin mix. It makes them soft and yummy (my favourite is black cherry)then add crushed up sugar cubes on top to make a crunch before cooking.

Aw Nadia, I know how you feel re: what is the point of doing all these mundane activities. I get like that when I’m stressed and have a lot going on in my mind, it’s like overload and you end up not caring about anything. Once you’ve done the first episode of your new cook show, you’ll be on a high; you just have a lot going on at the same time. Mark gives great advice too, and so supportive.

I have a coconut and jam muffin recipe.. It took me a few attempts to stop the jam sinking but I was successful in the end.. I'm sure it could be adapted for blueberry muffins..
