I travelled to the Himalayas .
Start with your piles, yes.
Lots of clothes that you can layer up on.
Take clothes you can wash and dry easily.
Good quality socks will help with walking and keeping your feeties warm.
Thermol underwear.
Keep the things you need on a daily basis ontop of your backpack.
Camping slippers?
Insect repellent.
Think material that will keep you warm rather than outfit.
Sunglasses, gloves.
First aid kit.
Just a few thoughts.

It is so clear to see that you are both still in love with each other which after 18 years of marriage is lovely to see. You are going to miss each other loads.

I feel so sorry for Nanny Di and for you Mark not only upset yourself but watching your mum go through this hard time. You will be such a strength to her and knowing she can rely on you will make a difference to her. I could do a month of silence but probably wouldn't want to speak to anyone again lol. Was thinking of you all Friday, we had a dreadful day, my brother in law was suffering from depression and he so sadly took his life on Friday, we are all devastated, my heart goes out to you all words cannot express ❤️❤️❤️❤️xxxx this has cheered me up watching Nadia pack 🤣🤣xx

Ah, love your family and the fact Kiki was so worried about being late. You both are great parents. People argue and that is life, especially when there is a lot of stress, so ignore the unkind comments, nobody is perfect. So looking forward to you doing your trek Nadia, you will be fab! The start of this made me cry....poor Nanny Di. My heart goes out to her (and you too Mark). She just looked so lost that I wanted to hug her and bring her home with me. But she probably needs her space too and it’s lovely that she feels so certain of your support that she just knows she has somewhere safe and welcoming to go to when it all gets too much. It’s still very raw for her but with all your love and help and support she will get through it. She seems very stoic. Big hugs to you all. X

I have the exact same bag which I took to India and I used 3 packing cubes and everything else went in smaller drawstring bags. It was fab as I was in a new place every night or two and I could completely unpack by taking out the three cubes and treating them like a drawer. It fits under the seat on the trains no problem too.

we've had fruit flies on bananas this year and never before.
My friend told me to put vinegar with a little sugar in a small glass and cover with cling film and prick holes in the cling film and the fruit flies will go in! It worked!
You’re going to need more than 1 pair of thermals , deffo layers , get to camping shop, Stop stressing 😂 luv to Nanny Di x
Base layers great for keeping warm and cool. Tops (enough to feel fresh), couple of jumpers, 2 walking trousers, 3 or 4 leggings (for comfort), underwear, socks, boots, toiletries, medical kit. Roll up for packing to save space. You're going to be great!

Nadia, I love the packing cubes. I use them all the time when travelling. Roll your clothes and you’d be surprised how much you can fit in.

Less is more. Think necessities lots of socks for changing as feet sweat, foot care most important prevent blisters.

Packing cubes are a game-changer! Trust me! But like I said before, get COMPRESSION cubes where they zip down and push all the air out. Then you can fit even more! Put all your larger items (trousers, sweaters, etc.) in the bigger one(s) and then your tops in another and undies/socks in another. OK Nads, you be sure and try EVERY bit of clothing on before you pack it!! You certainly don't want any surprises once you're over there! Wear THIN layers that you can wear on top of one another and keep warm... OK I see you have the thermal leggings, but get a couple of thermal tops too (Heath Tech, Under Armour)! xx
OMG compression cubes while packing luggage! This. Is. Genius! I use them for storage all the time why have I not thought of this before??
