Those vegan breakfasts look amazing. I love it when a restaurant puts as much effort into their vegan menu as they do their main.
I forgot to add that it was nice to see Nanny Di up and about.She is one strong and determined lady!! xxx
Omg I'm so angry about the train journey you had. I totally get the frustration. I have a disabled railcard so I get money off, but they train tickets are still stupidly expensive. Also, like your friends, I "look well and normal". I don't use a wheelchair and don't even use my can all the time.
But did you know, there are only a limited number of disabled seats for wheelchair users. Out of hundreds of seats there are only a couple of seats for the disabled on any one journey. Disabled friends of mine have been stranded, and forced to catch the next train to be able to get on. Lied to by train companies, and missed trains as there's been no disability assistance available to get them on the train. The policies and the prices are an outrage.

Mark said in a blog a few days ago that they offered & wanted Nanny Di to stay with them but that she likes her own space and didn't want to... But he hoped that she would change her mind. So regardless of what others think it's up to her. I'm sure that they'll provide plenty of support to her and e sure she's well looked after. She's doing well. Honestly the sooner up and about the better for long term mobility and range or motion.. As long as she rests in between...(I'm a Medically retired staff nurse - "Medically retired" makes me sound old 😂. .. - and I'm now also a full time wheelchair user - paralysed and dislocate almost all my joints many times a day just to give context to my comments). ♥
I think Nanny Di likes her own space and as much as I love the Sawahla/Adderley family they are very loud and very chaotic and I think Nanny Di needs rest and recuperation💗

Nanny Di I know how you feel about being on your own in hospital. I was in for 8 days feeling so poorly. I had no one and not even any tv on the ward. So glad you’re getting better and your be lifting that leg soon. Love the vlog backwards and forwards x
Hello from Canada! A few years ago I ended up in hospital for 5 days. When I was finally given the okay to go home my husband asked me if I could stay there one more day. When I asked him why he said so he'd have time to clean the house! lol
I think Nadia you are not sure about his haircut at first sighting. If you really liked it I think you would've said rather than asking him if he liked it.....? Can't wait for the reveal 😁

I use brown mascara as i am a redhead with fair skin. Black makes me look like a panda. Thing is that I struggle finding a brown one. Sometimes they have black brown. What's that all about? Is it black or is it brown? Sounds like nonsense to me x

I get where Di is coming from re going home. To recover well you have to be in your most comfortable environment and if that means solitude with support externally whenever she needs it then that is what she should do. Nadia and Mark have a busy house by it’s very nature. Lovely vlog guys - again thank you for trying so hard to film when there was so much going on. Nads I don’t think you were too sure about the hair cut - what a fab way to end the vlog though. I’m still stressed with my house move so this has been a very welcome distraction. Much 💖

Think you hid what you initially thought about Marks hair Nadia, because you said ‘do you like it’, if I had liked it, I would have immediately said that it looks really nice. Nanny Di looks really well, speedy recovery to her. She, like most of us, is very independent I should imagine and wants to be in her own home, surrounded by her own things while she’s recuperating. lol I don't usually wear make up at all but I have to wear brown mascara when I do as I'm really blonde with very fair skin and black is just too severe on me.
High profile guest!? You mean there is somebody even more high profile than Nanny Di!? Keep battling on and get well soon. My Mam had her knee replacements several years ago and she said it's wonderful to be fully mobile again and pain free. ♥️

Catching up in the vlog after having a virus and a cricked neck. I have fair eyelashes that are fine and use a black black...but then I wear glasses so feel I need them to stand out...I did use to wear Brown Black sometimes but not now 🙈 Mark you are gorgeous and a CATCH end of!!! I think you were pleasantly surprised Nads re Mark’s hair 😉
So happy that Nanny Di is doing well. Nadia...here's a fun recipe to try. Make macaroni and cheese on top of the stove then transfer it to your waffle maker as if you're making waffles...let the outside be brown and crunchy while the inside is creamy...Mmmm. Nadia, you could do with the towels that they sell in camping shops. They are microfibre ones and are super thin. They come in a little bag and dry really easily and quickly. Try doing a walk in the Lake District before you go. Nanny Di you are my heroine. Take it easy. ❤️🦸♀️

Nadia, I used to go shopping and lived in Catterick but my nearest towns where Richmond which is lovely and I used to shop in Northallerton. I loved it and it's great for walking and eating. Lots of nice pubs in pretty villages. Shame you had to stand in the train, they should charge you a third of the cost as you really are entitled to a seat if you pay full price. I couldn't stand for hours as I am recovering from twenty years of M.E. I doubt if they will ever sort the train thing out.

Nadia need to make sure you get lots of sleep as trek will be so much slower and seem longer than the training trek. Take whatever you need to ensure that happens. You seem pretty fit so really confident the trek will be no problem for you. NOTHING will be as bad as the train journey and you will have NEVER experienced toilets like them ever before!!!
