I have had this one for 7 months. It made a mess by overflowing. Not sure at this time why it did this. The repair guy said you can't overload this machine, it will shut itself down. It seems the fail-safe switch failed. These washers do something to the effect to settle your wash, deliberately pushing everything to one corner, hence it becomes off-balance. Does anyone out there have any idea why this could happen?
I got my delivered today by Home Depot no sooner they turned power on the error message of E3 was in the display now I have to wait for Frigidaire to resolve the issue.
Sorry to hear that, Brenda! We want you to have a good experience with your laundry pair. What is the model number of your washer? How are small loads faring? ~Ashton
I have this model I was wondering how you can soak longer than it allows. I like to soak over night. I tried to but when I restarted it filled with water. Thanks Linda
Good day! In most top-load washers, the lid needs to be closed for the machine to start the washing cycle, including filling with water. However, some older models or certain specific settings may allow you to fill the tub with water while the lid is open. If you're trying to add water before adding clothes, you might be able to start the water fill process, pause it, add your laundry, and then resume. Some newer machines, especially those with locking lids, may not allow this and might stop the cycle if the lid is opened. This may vary depending on your model.
Hi there! To make sure you're getting the best out of your washer and using it in the most effective way, I highly recommend taking a peek at the owner's guide and manual. It's packed with helpful information on the right settings and proper usage, specific to your machine. It's a great resource that can really enhance your experience and ensure your washer performs at its best.
Most wash cycles will sense the size of the load and adjust the water intake and time accordingly. Quick Wash or Timed cycles are great options for a smaller, lightly soiled load! ~Ashton
@@Frigidaire not true, i've tried several modes and it always puts more water than needed... ridiculous that we dont have an option to manually adjust the water level
Good day! If your top-load washer isn't draining, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue: Ensure the drain hose is not kinked, clogged, or frozen. It should also be positioned correctly, usually about 30-40 inches high. Many top-load washers have a lid switch that must be engaged for the machine to drain. Make sure the lid is closing properly. Listen for any sounds from the drain pump during the spin cycle. If it’s silent, it may be clogged or malfunctioning. You can check for blockages or debris. Unplug the washer for a few minutes, then plug it back in to reset the electronics.
Good day! Check the water inlet screens for any clogs. If your hot and cold water hoses are turned on and free from any kinks, you may need to check your inlet screens. The inlet screen is responsible for catching debris, and it could be clogged, preventing water from flowing into your washing machine. This washing machine was disappointing. You cannot manually change the water level so you have to rely on an automatic sensor to determine the desired water level. The sensor is flawed. Towels don’t weigh much when dry, so the sensor assumes you have a light load. My work around is to either add water myself , or let the washer fill then turn off the power and reset the cycle thus doubling the water. My new luxury apartment complex spent $1M on these appliances. I hope there have been improvements since this model.
Good day! If your front load washer is not sufficiently filling with water, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue: Ensure that the water supply valves (both hot and cold) are fully open. Check if there are any kinks or bends in the water hoses that could be restricting water flow. Ensure that the water pressure in your home is sufficient. Low water pressure can prevent the washer from filling properly. Make sure the washer is not set to a cycle that uses very little water (such as some eco-friendly or quick wash cycles).
HORRIBLE machine, no way to control the water level, washed a single polo shirt yesterday and the washer filled the whole thing up... what a waste of water... DO NOT BUY
Good day! We are sorry to hear that you have had to deal with these circumstances. Top-load washers typically have a predetermined water level based on the selected cycle and load size. Unlike front-load washers or some high-efficiency top-load models, they lack sensors to detect the precise amount of laundry and adjust water accordingly. @@FrigidaireThanks for your response!
how do you get the agitator to stop trying to balance the load??
If I have a small load what Setting do I use. The machine shouldn't have to fill to the top with a small to medium load
