Tnhaks a lot Dave, very useful information, I just bought one and I was about to return it because I thought it wasn´t working well. Thanks and greetings from Mexico!! 😄✌
I bought this new washer this summer. I absolutely HATE IT! Its got an ATTITUDE!!! first, no owners manual on how to operate it. You have to hit the power button, then hit another button until all the white lights come on. Then it locks, makes some noise. so I go to put something in that I forgot to put in, however the lid won't open because its locked. its still filling. I hit stop, and then the fun starts. it goes into spin, empties, that takes 5 minutes, then it opens. then you have to start it all over again. I've had enough of it. Sure it works great when it does a load however if your like me and forget something....this washer is not what you want. My old GE Washer and dryer lasted 20 years with no issue. Decided to get a new set...sure its great but this washer is not going to be here long. I'm already looking for a replacement. None of this shit. It locks, good, the cat can't get in it when its running. even adults can't get into it. This thing is going very soon. MAYTAG...WHO'S GRADE 8 HOME ECONOMICS PROJECT IS THIS! DON'T BUY IT.
You must press the pause button on the bottom right for it to pause, so you can open it during a cycle. Then press the pause button again until all the lights flash to start again. You are right none the manufacturers make these machines to last 20 years anymore
@@davehowtohelp Why all the lights coming on to get it started. to make it look like we're living in the Jetson's age? No instruction manual on what the features do. My old setup had instruction, I gave them to the person I gave the old set too. Christ. I am getting rid of this Maytag. It takes way to long to wash stuff. buzz, buzz, click, swirl, swirl, then stop. Don't buy Maytag.
Just got one two weeks ago, already looking to return it. I HATE that it gives me the option of how much water to put in, but it senses the load and does what it wants! WTH! The bad part is that it doesn’t even cover the clothes in water!
The best demonstration on the washing machine . The wasn’t satisfied with this machine, but I am now after this tutorial can you soak something by using the pause button?
changes hoses every 5 years... Yes, you totally should. With that being said, my washer bought in 2005 still has it's original hoses... I inspect them for leaks, bulging, or anything... I also turn water off when done doing laundry to be safe... but yeah, 20 year old hoses and right on the hoses it says "replace every 5 years"
Does your washer have water on the inside walls of the drum when clothes are done? None at the bottom but up on the sides? If I wipe it out, it's enough to soak a couple paper towels. I've only used it twice. Thanks!
Love your help! It made a lot of noise and wasn't balanced in the beginning. You're the best! Thank you so much for your commentary. VERY HELPFUL!
Thank you
Thanks Dave that was very helpful....i was truly frustrated with it...
Thank you for watching

That could work
Please show how to use fabric softener
Yes seriously why do we need to dilute with water /add water if should release it automatically

Yes I have a little water beading up top. After uses, you must leave the lid open on all washers so any water can evaporate, and prevent mold
@davehowtohelp thank you 😊
Thanks for this awesome review
Do you use faucet much? For soaking? How do you soak? Thanks buddy.
Where can I find the paper you follow? Or what is it called?
I just got my washer today, and the paper came with it.
Google Maytag washer cycle guide, and download it.
@@davehowtohelp Thank You Very Much, Great Video & Information
Do I add the detergent before or after adding the clothes?
Add it before
How about if I use the pods
When do you add bleach? And how?

This video is perfect for boomers.

This washer sucks lid locks and you can't put softener in. Balancing sucks.
