Are your videos on your website more in-depth? My washer doesn’t even seem to start the drain cycle. I don’t hear a hum or anything. The board tests fine just not engaging the drain pump.

If the drain pump would be clogged where is it that we would see that? On the actual drain pump or close by? Or do we have to keep looking inside to find the clog?

What type of glue would you recommend for this? I tried reinstalling without gluing and it leaked

I replaced the motor on my Frigidaire top loader washer as shown in view, I disconnected top control panel and door cover and top panel, disconnected wires from control panel and removed, after reassemble from motor change, motor fixed problem now I get a E1 code, I’ve done a diagnostic check of control panel and water source and it all seems to work fine, could I of hooked something up wrong to get this error, I believe this error means taking to long to fill with water and will not go into wash mode, any suggestions?

      Yes, that is important!
I have a Frigidaire (Electrolux made) Washer that looks extremely similar to this, but my drain pump housing takes more than three screws.
The new pump/motor for mine was $120-150!
I did some further examination & testing, and determined that the impeller shaft bearings were shot, but the driver coil was fine...
I did some hunting on the internet and discovered that the same driver coil and impeller was used in a couple different machines; just mounted on different housings!
I was able to buy one of those for ~$25 delivered!
(Had to wait ~a week either way!)
Pulled off the 'new' (and incompatible) housing, mounted the old housing on there (yes, it had been glued!) and got it all back together!
Working good for over two years!
My theory is that, if you look at the driver coil, it is probably labeled '10 min on/50 min off' (or something to that effect).
This is a somewhat limited duty cycle, and if you pay attention to how the machine cycles are comprised, it uses the drain pump way more than that!
...and my theory, is that if you do a lot of loads back to back, it does not get enough time to cool down.
      And the bearings overheat.
Not sure if it matters to do small or large loads...
I bought mine used (only like 5 years old!) for $200 (with a dryer!); ran a cycle with a decontamination product - no problems; ran several small personal loads, over several days, with no problems, but when Saturday came, I ran some "Max-Fill" loads of blankets, then towels and then the team's heavy canvass sports clothes...and that last load did not drain...
Pulling out the pump, and manipulating the impeller told me it wasn't seized; I put it back together, and it worked for the next load, but I could hear that when it was time to pump, it would hum, and not pump: pausing and resuming a couple times got it going, but I knew it needed a new pump.
      But not for $125!
      Only $25!

@@TheScandoman I bought the cheap $24 dollar pump off eBay and only used the propeller and electric motor. The one we’ve got is exactly like the one he’s working on. I had the gray pump originally. No way I was paying $135. Damn crooks. I did so research and thought if I only use the motor part to install it should work. The only problem was the wiring. The pump I used had a plug in. My pump had a pigtail about 2 ft long . I cut the plug-in of my original pump and used wire connectors to put it the the new pump. Works great and only cost $24.

@@TheScandoman I basically did the same thing my only problem was wiring at first. But got past that pretty easy because I don’t think you can get the wires on backwards. Either way works

      @@tchogworks1987 Awesome!
I am getting older, and I did mine over 2 1/2 years ago: don't remember what the connector situation was, but I could have kept using the old coil: you just pry the little clip, and it slides off...
Unless the coil has overheated, cooked the plastic to brittleness, and it breaks off...and then you WOULD want to be sure & replace coil, also...
      Good job!
I tried to find someone in the Electrolux/Frigidaire QA/Reliabilty organization, but no real success on that!

This drain pump replacement is too complicated & too many steps. Electrolux needs to make appliances that are easy to repair.
