He is not on Tour for the same reason I'm not in the Indy 500. I can't drive.
I have to say the amount of detail that goes into these professional fittings are incredible. Especially the putter. That tweak about eyeing the target to setup may have just helped me

The fitters really adhere to the golden rule. "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts". It was a credit to Micah to park the ego at the door and take everything on board with trust. Crushed it as a result. Top stuff!

What a display of passion and club-fitting by Trottie, TM has zeroed in on how YT influencers will change how consumers buy clubs. PGA pros will be valued but no longer the top dog in how manufacturers want to sell clubs, the analytics from YT powerbrokers will prove it. Guys like Micah, Grant, and Good Good will set the pace.

Don't want to start any beef but this fitting is 2 levels up than what i watched Callaway & GG... and as many people say Taylormade is all about quality, Callaway about quantityband it shows right here damnn great work 👍👏👏 and all story is starting to make lots of sense just amazing
They looked very similar to me. They both hit all there clubs and tried new heads and shafts and balls, fitting is the same anywhere you go with these top companies, look how many tour events callaway won this year so far, they’ve won 3 out of 5 so far…I’d say there club quality and fitting quality for there pros is pretty good.

Trottie is a legend. I like this fitting video. There were some conversations and explanations that filled in some gaps for those of us that are human. The putting section was the most interesting and shows just how inportant a putter fitting is if you're planning on attempting on getting to the next level. Now let's see a wedge fitting and some coaching for you to improve your short game.

I love getting into the mindset of these reputable club fitters. I'm not a scratch golfer, but the way they talk about the clubs and the stats and how different things come into play - just everything he says about flight and figuring out what YOU think is a miss or good shot, etc. Just love getting into the thought process and mindset from the fitter.
Great to be a part of this & show a lot of people how important the process is.

Best fitting I have ever seen PERIOD. The chemistry with Tig and Trottier is sick. Trottier is God Tier fitter, so knowledgeable and tells you bluntly the facts. Could watch this all day. Cheers Tig and Trottier you are top drawer brother!!!

Trots is awesome, and that putter fitting was excellent. I've been struggling with that open feeling myself and never though to naturally position my body while looking at my aim target. Hurry up, spring!

Taylormade is miles ahead of Callaway when it comes to fittings. The difference between the good good content for their fittings and grant and Micah was like night and day.
Calloway signed GoodGood to sell clubs, TM signed Micah to win Majors.
I’m not sure why everything always taylormade vs calaway now, if Micah was with calaway you’d be saying the same thing about them 😂
But you’re also comparing 10 guys getting fitted in a 30 minute video vs 1 guy getting fitted for a 30 minute video, you’ll obviously see more.

The type of fitting explanation I heard today from Trottie is something new. The true fitting to a player and ball was eye opening and makes you think if you really have the right setup of ball to a club. Great in-depth video and I can't wait to see you build confidence with the club to your next video. Great work Taylormade.
My old swing coach at the Country Club used to give lessons when someone said "I just can't hit my clubs, pretty sure I need new clubs"...Our PGA teaching pro would pull out a 30 to 40 year old wooden McGregor 3-wood and he would draw it or cut it or hit it straight and then look at who he was teaching and say "Realistically, it's never the clubs fault". Thinking some magic is going to occur with new clubs or fitting is crazy...
@@marketingheavydutytowcompa6996 so hypothetically we'll just say the guy your "old swing coach" is talking to is as good as Micah - if he said that, it's a good thing for you he's your old swing coach. If you and your old swing coach think there is no magic from a good, comprehensive and detailed fitting like this at his level, both of you have ZERO concept of what a fitting can do. Find a new swing coach.
Was fitted by the Head Fitter from TaylorMade Canada in Woodbridge Toronto. Definitely a major factor to have the right ball, compression and spin for your golf swing and style/speed.
Such an effective yet simple way of communicating setting up to target when putting. The Taylormade fitters are top tier. Tig also made their jobs easy by being a coachable beast.
That was an awesome video, I am super impressed at how detailed this fitting was!

Honestly, the tip about putting, not looking at the ball when you're moving is probably the best tip I've ever heard. It's simple, to the point, and makes so much damn sense!
Even though I haven't played golf in years and was never close to as good as you. This was truly exciting to watch. From an informational stand point what Trottie was saying made sense, even to me. Seeing you easily hitting 185-190mph ball speed shows that the speed training you did with Kyle is working. You looked very under control and then seeing you really unleash it for 197 was cool. The putter fitting was also just as fascinating. Can't wait to see what 2023 has in store for you.

I’m lucky enough and very grateful to have a former big league baseball player as a dad that has golf connections as well. Taylormade is one of them and I just got new hybrids, wedges, and the new Stealth 2 Plus! So excited to get new clubs for the first time in 10 years, great company!
