I think he split one lightning bolt into three, which isn’t exactly shooting 3 at a time. I remember they needed the energy from 3 WHOLE bolts, and dividing one into three wouldn’t have given them the amount of energy they needed
You know as cool as the visuals are, i don't actually get these fight scenes with speedsters. Like if they deciding to throw them hands why dont they just fight really fast? Why they always running around like one is running away trying to escape?
I swear iris could've died and the show would've probably been a lot better. They made Cecil annoying, Caitlyn useless(×2), cisco disappear, villians super lame and the flash hardly to be seen. Seriously, wtf happened? This all feels deliberate especially will all the bs girl power they shoved in our faces for no reason.

He had to enter Flash Time which stops time completely, it takes a lot of energy to stop time, so he couldn't get the energy he needed
