I can see very subtle upgrades. Personally, I think it's worth it. I left Canon for Sony. I needed 120fps. Or thought i did. Im coming back to Canon with the r5...just gotta find a kidney buyer. Shouldnt be hard tho.
no he could not, and he would not, its about the inspiration that this camera has given him, i am sure now he could replicate this same video, but this artistic story came from wanting to speak on a whole other level, which 5R awakened inside of him.... Tools inspire artists to do new never imagined creations.... Plus this is probably 13-16 stops of dynamic range, so i do not think that he could have done it on just any other camera..... The quality is superb beyond other cameras.... Before watching this video I had a concept for my next story, after watching this, it just clicked in my head how i wanna tell the story.... Also Peter is not just any ordinary guy, he is like in the 1% of the artists out there.... So not just any camera, just like not just any artist. I am sure we can give bunch of people this camera and they will not tell nothing as moving.....

I’ve finally had time to rewatch this on my 4K TV... I’m still speechless. I just don’t have words to describe how I feel. The images look stunning, but Peter’s storytelling, choice of clips, transitions... music and sounds... it’s out of this world. I hope I could ever be 1/100 of what Peter is as a filmmaker/videographer.

I just can't thank you enough for being so committed to the your art and fellow artist. And most importly, the kid under the blanket with a flashlight! IMAGINATION.

Ive edited videos, a whole lot of photos and watched so much youtube on my laptop. This week I built my own workbeast computer for editing and just bought my first 32" 4K BenQ monitor. Turned it on and 30 seconds later, this is the first video I watched because I knew I hadnt seen it. Put on that 4K and I am not dissapointed. Amazing video Pete. Love the work! Cheers mate :)

Don't say you won't because its something you can work towards. The 80d is a great camera too, yes gear can help, but its the story telling that makes a video. It's like the kid that has a beat up skateboard saying its shit and he'll never go pro, when really its all in his skill of art.

So this made me think of an idea: what if someone created a series similar in style to Chef's table, but about artists, you know? All kinds of artists: videographers, potters, stunt men, etc. That would be cool. Someone please do that.
