  • There will not be an episode 2, because as it turns out, the game is kinda crap and I don't want to play it anymore haha! But also, the story is more or less just the anime, even down to copying lines verbatim, so if you want to follow that, watch the anime.
It's too bad because I think Natsume developed the game, and they've had the Power Rangers license for a long time, so I was hoping for better. But alas, the missions/levels are all timed and the fixed camera is the enemy of gameplay.
Still, since I completed this first level, might as well publish it?

My friend and I were just talking about this game/a translation, ha! I love the show but it's a shame that the game looks to be one of those quick liscened tie in games. This is still cool to see if I ever did want to play it tho!

Hello! I'm a programmer looking to make a PC fan-translation port of the Tiger & Bunny Hero's Day Visual Novel released on the PSP. I can get my hands on the assets and replicate the menus and screens and such, but deciphering the original Japanese script isn't something I can do. Let me know if you'd be willing to help translate it.

I can't blame you since I didn't get the appeal of this show when it first came out and this gameplay looks grind heavy.
At times, it made me think if it was even aware of it's own self-parody or if it was just very bizarre as a joke on the sponsors. If anyone can explain the appeal of the show, I'd appreciate it.
Seigi no Mikata, despite its mediocrity and budget, had charm and spirit. And at least it didn't exactly need to have a better camera and didn't heavily punish you for taking hits, only for losing battles.

The appeal - of season 1 at least - was that the show constantly kept a strong facade of "ah look campy ass superhero show, watch them learn family friendly lessons and catch burglars!" but out of nowhere it'd hit you with progression and details that made you question the entire world that this silly little narrative is built on. The origins of HERO TV, the malicious bureaucracy behind it, the sheer amount of control that corporations have over the heroes as well as moral dilemmas for when things go wrong or aren't as simple as "good guy beats up bad guy"
The show presents itself as a silly little superhero-buddy-cop story, but it's just to lull you into a false sense of security and sucker punch you later. Great watch, I might watch it again.

@@aaronchavez5335 I think I see why there's an appeal for this show.
