- The translated playthrough: • Seigi no Mikata (PS2) ...
Seigi no Mikata from 2002 on Playstation 2 by Sony. A playable tokusatsu show that at the same time manages to be better than any tokusatsu-based game I can think of. Different and funny, a good time. - บันเทิง
Really enjoyed your regular playthrough translation. The main theme is pretty catchy too. I hope it gets a fan translation some day.
Hope one day a fan translation happens or ideally I can learn enough Japanese to experience it myself.
This was a game I've seen before here and there, but it's cool finally seeing some proper coverage of it. It looks like a really cool game for those who are familiar with tokusatsu hero shows. There's not a lot of those kinda games I see, I'd say it boils down to something like Viewtiful Joe, W101, or I guess rent a hero to an extent. I think the touch of getting fan letters and complaints is a nice touch, that's something that usually sorta happened with those kinda shows in how viewer feedback kinda played into it, either via an episode or shown in the credits.
I do wanna say that as someone who's familiar with the series even if you briefly mentioned it, other than the tv ratings aspect, I don't think Tiger and Bunny is the same as what I've seen here, as that's more of a reality game show and the super hero stuff isn't fictional. The create a hero thing is a neat detail and seeing what outfits are inspired by which is cool. I think the universal police is based on the metal hero shows or Space sheriff, which this game looks like it takes a fair amount of the later from,(BTW the Red Guy is actually Winspector, not solbrain, but they are still part of the same series).
also that theme song is really catchy.
I couldn't find a good fullbody picture of Solbrain so I searched for metal heroes and took that one.
Quite endearing :)
This gives me heavy Dual Heroes vibes.
What a sick game

@@Protoman85I mean, you definitely should, though. I played the entire franchise before 7 came out and I can confidently say 7 is top 5 or 3 games in the mainline series. The Judgment games are good in their own right, too.
Side note, please keep making videos, it's great stuff
the dark souls of boku no hero academia gamified.
