Can you put tape over the spot where their paws get caught on the crates? I have 2 teacup schnauzers Both are 6lbs. One has rabbit ears (7 hrs old) and the other has normal ones (1 yr old). Magnum reminds me of my puppy, very mischievous. I call her my Houdini as she can get out of any place. Love the videos
You could just tape the lip of the crate to cover the hole so they don't get their feet stuck anymore :D

AWWW I SEE THAT BLACK SCHNAUZER AND IT REMINDS ME OF OUR ACE OF SPADES WHO PASSED AWAY THREE YEARS AGO. MY WIFE AND I MISS HIM SOOO MUCH 😢 ONLY DIFFERENCE IS HIS EARS WERE CROPPED.

I have had our schnauzer for 4 years and i think i have only heard her bark about 4 times. She gets in her crate at 10pm or when ever you tell her to lock down. She opens the door herslf and gets in on her own. If we go somewhere during the day she gets in it as soon as we leave.
Window stickers for pets can be gotten from some firedepartments

Thank Goodnes Abby and Major were already crate trained prior to me getting them..... makes traveling much easier.... plus when you go camping!
Magnum has settled in well I see 😂. He's got bigger. So funny watching them play. I know I comment on them playing in every video but it's just so funny 😂

Love your videos. I have two dachshund puppies who are 2 weeks apart in age. Do you have tips on how often you take your puppies out to potty versus how long you keep them in the crate?
I just adopted a standard Schnauzer puppy ! I bought a crate that came with a cover. Not sure if he'll like it or get anxious? Do you cover their crates?
If it's up to him (Teddy), how can I tell?
Also, what dog food do you feed them?

Schnauzer Mom thanks for looking. We decided today to just go ahead and move Sean's crate to the living room every morning so he can get more used to it. We also started feeding him in it. If we put him in it during the day he has a major fit, so we still have to get him used to that so we can leave the house sometime. Lol. Thanks so much for your videos.

Magnum will grow into his ears. Charming Ben's ear (cropped ears) had a slight bend in it as a puppy. By the time he was one year old... his ears were straight. Looks like Magnum is part of the schnauzer pack!!

my dog is fine going to the crate and sleeping in it at night but during the day he got in and if i lock it go outside of the room he cries and whine, bark for like an hour. do you have any tips on leaving them in the crate alone during the day? Thanks a lot!!
Is it bad to not crate train ? And is there a age limit where they wont adjust ?

When your schnauzers were puppies, did you take them out once during the night? We did with our Zoey (15....RIP 10/22) for the first few weeks. We are getting ready for our little Liesl to arrive next Tuesday (6-6-23) and are bracing for the whole puppy thing again.

I’ve been watching all your videos from your very first one since 8am this morning i think its time to stop lol this is where i left off i shall resume tomorrow ♥️ i am getting a schnauzer puppy in 3 weeks. Her name is Dorothy and shes the most perfect thing on earth😩 im a first time dog mom and im so nervous im gonna do this wrong. What do you recommend when it comes to food ingredients and content, treats and maybe some not so essential essentials that I may need for my girl? All advice is welcome cuz i need help😩

In Australia it is not legal to dock a pups tail. But am I right in thinking the breeders dock them in the USA?

I think that the fire department might have the stickers that go on your door to indicate that there are pets in the house.
I did get stickers from the fire department, they were metallic and red, very durable.
You can usually get the stickers from the fire department.
What size weight and heigh are your dogs?
I have a new pup. He yelps im his crate if left alone even for a second do you have that?

Duct tape would probably work to cover those lips in the crates. It looks like Max is not that fond of Magnum.

Thank you for this video. I'll soon be a Schnauzer mom. My son was born on June 10th, and he may resembles Magnum. His name will be ONYX and he is mostly black but there will be some white around the tummy and legs. This will be my first time being a dog owner, so I'm preparing my home and MYSELF mentally lol. If the foot gets stuck, you might want to duct tape it so there's no holes
Yes. I put duct tape on them after someone else suggested it awhile ago and it's worked great 😊
My dog Frankie is seriously ill with an tumour that has wrapped round his heart and could kill him if they removed it I'm so sad and I think I'm stupid for crying over a pet but he means the world to me and I can't imagine life without hulk xx
Don't feel bad about crying. I lost my little Tea cup 3 pound poodle. She was 18 yrs old. I waited a year because I couldn't get over my tiny poodle. But after a yr. I felt it was time to have another dog. So we choose 2 Schnauzer sisters. We are crate training and its working out well. I love them very much. But they are a handful. I was so used to poodles. They are so easy. But then again I just love my schnauzer sisters. Looking forward to the puppy age to be over. They are so smart. But much harder to control.
