There is actually a PSP Game called Daxter, a game that takes place in the same game as Jak II for PlayStation 2, where you play as Daxter from his perspective, before he got to Jak in the second game for PS2, which the game, Jak II is being played on PS3 with an achievement system. I wish that Naughty Dog would make a movie, just like Ratchet and Clank and created a Jak and Daxter Collection for PS4 and PS5, including Jak and Daxter, Jak II, Daxter, and Jak 3.
This game needs to be massively re-designed with today's quality of life features to have any chance of withstanding today's market. Naughty Dog's game design proves that it's just a matter of implementation though.
Does anyone else get anxious whenever Jak goes into the water because of Lurker Sharks from the first game and the robots in this game that shoot you if you go in water out of bounds? 😆😭
To be honest I actually hated that restriction on how far you can go in the waters, I always thought to myself that there should be a way to swim as far as one desires in the game, it would've been best if you could for an example have to collect 10,000 precursor orbs for the first game to unlock unlimited swimming mode with no sharks, and maybe just as much to be able to swim unlimitedly in the second game with hidden orbs in the city.... They could've made them even better but hey they're still great games....

This was the most frustrating game. With the JET Board challenges, gun range challenges, the Whack a Metal Head game, the pac Daxter game, and that Onin game. Plus that one mission where you had to get out of the slums but there were a billion Krimson Guards. And you had to play the races a few times in order to figure out where not to go so Jak or Daxter doesn’t die. Or any damn mission where you had to protect someone from dying with their small ass health bars, and it was always one of the longer missions. And even though it being one of the main sources for my anger throughout my childhood, I still absolutely love this game. It’s my favorite Jak and Daxter game. And honestly, one of my favorite games of all time

Honestly, the style would probably be closer to Jedi Fallen Order with the exploration and semi open world. At least, that’s what I feel. They’d need the perfect tone of the original Jak and Daxter Trilogy while also having the game be made into a newer game style. The work they’d need to put into a game that everyone is probably going to hate because it’s virtually nothing like the original trilogy would be a wasted time and effort.

I really enjoy in this game that besides pointing out Samos's hut, its doesn't point out how some of the locations are from the first game. Like the excavating platform is the red sage level. At least it seems so to me.
there are two missions that I hate the ammo dump at the beginning of the game before you go see krew and retrieving 3 artifacts from the mountain pass especially the ones with the rock going downhill I hate that one.

Bro, how drunk were you when you played this game? 😅😂😅 Don't sweat it I'm just pulling your chain, I don't blame you though Jak 2 is hella hella tough bro, you just have to play it thousands of times before it becomes easy, I remember when I was a kid I would start cursing everytime I lost a mission especially during the secrets, I would become angrier than dark Jak has ever been, anyways nice playthrough you have.... I laugh every time you crash into every vehicle on your way 😂 Word of advice: Make sure to only crash into the guard vehicles 😉 because they deserve it, if they sound the alarm just hide in one of the buildings where they have these gaps and then the alarm blows over as the guards get confused...

i loved this game so much. played the first three levels over and over (prison escape, baron's banner, and turning the water back on). but man, that fucking tank level ( 49:56 ) used to scare the shit out of me as a kid. always had to ask someone else to beat it for me since i never could. @@stevenrowan9244 thank you for replying. I actually came to this conclusion myself a few days ago, since I saw that rewards for orb collecting differ between normal and hard mode. That could only mean that you must collect them again, to unlock (in a different order) all the cheats and secrets. Oof.. wish me luck, I'll be trying to 100% the game in the near future, hard mode included 😒

the one bad part about this game is the missions were long and if you died almost at the end you had to start over
If they remaster this they're definitely going to have to add more checkpoints.

The driving missions were always the worse because of how cramps the cities were and how little time you have to recover if you make a mistake.
