Sorry to hear mate. Make sure you look after yourself. Hoping you improve ….. you are a long way from home. I would be scared witless if it were me. Is the healthcare in El Salvador reasonable and proficient?
I doubt there would be Medicare there.

Hey mate, it is scary being so far from Australia and the comforts of the spinal unit, the spinal unit in Adelaide said I should fly home or fly to Miami for a review I forgot to mention in the video I have lost sensation in my body and I have pins and needles in my arms and right foot, I had an MRI 8 months ago no issues, the doctors here are actually really good the system is better and the doctors care more here in El Salvador from my experience it's just the spinal doctors and nurses I feel I need here. I haven't checked if there's a spinal unit here I will today. There is no Medicare but the doctor near our house is free on Thursdays and she is amazing a regular doctors visit is $2 US and all the tests, x-rays, scans other specialists cost me $100 Australian so no point using my insurance, we still have 9 weeks here then going to Fiji so I hope it resolves soon

Cory, I hope and pray that your health improves, and you get the right medical help. Have a great time in El Salvador, enjoy as much as possible, and get stuck into the fantastic food over there. God bless you my friend.🙏

@@rollwiththepunches5932 It was quiet, and I don't mind that at all. Less dramas. All these spasms would or could possibly be from the damage to your spinal cord, is that correct? Has this been an issue for a long time, or more recently? You'd think that the doctors and nurses would've picked that up, and provided you with a custom made, corrective made seat cushion that may have have compensated for the lopsided way you had to sit. To my way if thinking, they failed in their duty of care, because if that could've been corrected all those years ago, you may possibly not have the issues your facing now. And the blood clots, does that mean you have to constantly take blood thinners? Whatever it is I hope and pray that good things will come your way. Mate, when you get a chance, would you like to catch up over a coffee sometime? I'm easy anytime, my social calendar you could write down on a rolly paper these days. But I'm okay with that. Take care mate, hope you get the best possible outcome from all this. 👍

@@zwastiunburzy3688 yes spasms are a part of spinal cord injury but they usually managable and predictable, the recent huge increase in spasm is my body telling me something is wrong or pain somewhere i cant feel. i got the blood clot coz i was laying down for 3 months during traction i think you saw me on that bed contraption in 1998, i havent had blood thinners since as im very active. when i come back we have a coffee

@@rollwiththepunches5932 Yeah, I don't think I'll ever forget seeing you lying on that bed in hospital, being spun around every couple of hours like you were on a spit. I also remember how crazy that situation was for you, and how impossibly cheerful you were being. I don't think the full impact of what had happened had hit you yet. But I also remember how thankful I was that you were alive, and how God must've put that Japanese (I think he was Japanese?)man exactly where he was supposed to be that day. I and others in my family are praying for you, my friend, and I look forward to catching up.🙏🙂
