My father had one. Bought it new. Also had the dealer throw in the press poster that was hanging in the showroom. The car was traded years ago, but the poster still hangs, framed, in the garage.
I'm so jealous! I have a 1990 standard model with twice as many mile but I still love that car. It originally belong to my dad. After he pasted away I inherited the car.
@@timmartin7664 that’s awesome man, I just hit 60000 miles a week ago, these cars are great, don’t ever really see them on the road anymore. Cheers to 60000 more miles 😁
Yeah look at today with all the gadgets. Electric trunk pull down has been a trademark of Cadillac for many years before this and after. It’s a good thing.
I like chrome. These reviewers are always full of shyt. I have owned these cars and it was the best engine Cadillac had made in years being the 4.9 V8.
What...no comment about the rear bucket seats, not being able to put 5 people in it? Ted said that about the Grand Prix GTP. So it's ok to not have the option to put 5 people in a sedan but not in a coupe. He makes no sense!
@@MercOne no, it wasn't slower than V6 competition. Chrysler New Yorker with the 3.3L moved out ok for what it was 0-60mph 11.0 sec. but it was much slower than a caddy V8 at 8 seconds to 60. Felt like a rocket in comparison..... You are pretty much misinformed lol but it was a funny read, thanks 👍🏼. Were you even alive back then??
@@thewiseguy3529 I’m talking about the German and Japanese completion clueless, not that fellow American junk. My goodness you people have such a low bar. Yeah we owned all this junk from Detroit back in the day.
Proud owner of a fully loaded 1991 Seville sts, 56000 miles. I will keep this car alive as long as I can

@@iverified8920 Yeah I've haven't seen one in the Dallas area for over a decade. Maybe 2 decades.
@@iverified8920 60,000 miles it's barely broke in😆
Had completely forgotten about Drivers Seat! Remember this show on the CBC in the 1980's and 1990's. It was almost like "Siskel & Ebert" for cars.
57$ thousand in 1991 is 128 thousand dollars today. Holy crap you had to have some really deep pockets, back in the day to own one,
This STS was my favorite just wish it had a better drivetrain.

Master P loves his 91

That isn't saying much, considering everything else they made was utter junk.

Front wheel V8?
200 horsepower from a 4.9 liter V8 is “impressive”? Ha! How times have changed!
Had almost 300lbft. Torque lol it wasn't like a 4 cyl turbo. Those are weak in comparison
@@thewiseguy3529 Yet it was slower than the 6-cylinder competition at the time.

Six-cylinder 300SE did 0 to 60 mph in 10 seconds dude. Lol 😂 I think "your idiot" is showing, you better put it away.
$57grand for this?? Yikes.
It was equivalent to $44,900.00.US.
Right in league with it's competition.
@@williamegler8771 ...thanks for clarifying! I was scratching my head too!
Yeah that's like 128,000 in today dollars. Try wrapping your head around that 😆. Even the CTS-V wasn't in it's price range
Too many silly gadgets. Welcome to 2024.
