Such a sad day. It did not seem real that so many lost their lives. The city did a beautiful job of taking that terribly scarred building and made a wonderful memorial. Thank you Scott this vlog had to be hard to do.
Hello Jana.(hope you mind me addressing you by your first name) Just saw your comment. It was very sweet and to the point. I hope your and that you and your family have a lovely christmas x
I was only 6 years old so I don't remember this tragic day, and I don't recall learning about it in school. So thank you for taking on the important task of educating and showing your viewers these events that should never be forgotten. You handle these heavy subjects with such compassion and respect. Thank you Scott.
Thank you so much for coming to our city and helping people remember what happened here. It took me many, many years to build up enough courage to go back. My husband has never gone back. The museum helps with healing. You see the humanity lost in the museum. Thank you.
I have never seen this Memorial, thank you for the video. It is very quiet there like you said and peaceful. Such a tragedy. So needless. So many lives lost. It makes me so sad. :( -patty
I was holding my 1yr old daughter so tightly as I saw this going on. I remember the firefighter carrying baby Bailey out and It made absolutely no sense. I could not comprehend or grasp it. I just prayed and still do for all those forever effected by this. I recall back then the news referring to the tree as ugly. I remember seeing it bloom when spring came that year and how beautiful it was and the sense of hope it filled me with. Thank you for showing the tree now. I am elated to see how magnificent it is in all it power to endure and go on with life. I absolutely love that tree! It even helped me accept my scars! You did such an amazing job on this Scott! I could feel your love, compassion and reverence. I like the resilience and serene quiet of the surroundings there. I pray everyone there is feeling how loved they are!
You did a great job with this video. I am a life long resident of Oklahoma and was only 10 years old when this happened. I remember this day like it was only yesterday and haven't forgotten that day or those who lost their lives since. If you ever have the chance to come back, you should take a tour of the museum and see the chairs after dark to see the chairs lit up at night. Every year on April 19th, a memorial is held at the memorial and the families of those who lost loved ones gather together to remember and read the names of their loved ones that they lost out loud.
What a Beautiful Tribute, Scott. Thank you for making this video so respectful and heart-felt, to all of the families still hurting, from those we all lost, and to the survivors still living with a heavy heart. You did a Beautiful Thing, Scott. Your words are comforting to all. May God Bless You. Amen Scott, may I say a prayer? If it crosses a line, please remove if I am not abiding by your Channel's rules. ---------------------------------------------------------- Dear Lord, May You Forever Bless And Lift Up All The Families And Friends Who Will Never Be The Same For Their Tragic Loss. Please, Lord, Especially Keep The Children Lost, In Your Loving Care And Keep Their Families Close To You When They Need You The Most. Lord, Please Help Us To Remember Them, And Keep Them In Our Prayers. Precious Lord, Please Heal Their Hearts With Your Healing Hands And Your Ever Abiding Love, And Grant Them Peace. In Your Holy Name I Pray. Amen. 🤲🙏
Scott you did such an amazing job on this video. I was in college when this happened. A dear friend at the time lost her Mother-in-law. Thank you again for treating this story with such respect.
I followed this case closely. It is wonderful to see how resilient the human spirit is. The place is beautiful and you did a great job in showing those of us who have never been there, what the place looks like now. Peaceful. Ty Scott 💛🇨🇦🇱🇷
I was getting ready to go shopping with my then mom-in-law when this new broke into the morning programming. The well known image of the First Responder carrying that 1 yr old baby girl from the rubble has never left me. Thank you for showing us the memorial.
I love your content! it actually honors the victims which is not done often, I can truly feel the emotions. fabulous job capturing that, very inspiring! thank you
Wonderful and fantastic job Scott. I love how you take us to these places that most of us if not all of us would love to go visit. All of your videos are great but I noticed that you seem to be getting better and better with the more experience you have. Thank you so much my friend. Be safe out there and see you later!
I remember the day like it was yesterday. Tragic. I was at work as a preschool teacher.....I sure hugged my students more when this happened. Brought our school closer together.
Did you go at night when the chairs are lit up? So beautiful. The little chairs are for the children and taller for adults.very nice video......brings back some tearful memories
I've seen that place at night on television. It really is beautiful and makes a huge difference as the lights represent how these people will live on forever.
Thank you for making this video. I remember this day like it was yesterday. I was in my second year of law school at the time. You are so respectful and did a great job. May all of those people rest in Heaven.
I was there on a 4th of July one year. Was the most beautiful one I've ever experienced. Sitting in the garden with the chairs lit and the fireworks above was breathtaking. I kept crying, mix of happy emotions and sad. A must to visit!
This one hits close to home. My dad did the recovery for the final 3 victims. I grew up going to so many ceremonies. Thank you for doing the memory of this tragic event justice. Xoxo ❤
My husband, myself, and our 2 kids moved to OKC in 2005. This is one of the first things I visited when we moved here. It is a beautiful place, it's sad, but beautiful. The museum is a wonderful museum. There is the one room that is sad which is the room with all the kids pictures and 1 piece of their belongings. Very sad. We live in Norman which is 30 mins from downtown. Oklahomans are all pretty friendly. I haven't met too many that weren't nice. Great video, very informative.
Hi Scott. I remember seeing footage of this on the news and following this case while studying law. Never got the opportunity to visit here but would love to. Thank you so much for posting this video... an eerie, beautiful, quiet and respectful reminder of a tragic chapter in history where unassuming citizens faced humanity in one of its worst acts of violence. My god those beautiful children.. I hope they didant suffer 😥🙏🌹
The and Jesus wept really got me! Nice job covering everything bro! Your style is great, how you deliver. RIP to all. Hope to get there one day myself. Respect from Brantford, Ontario Canada🇨🇦
This made Global News , when the reports came to us In Australia the Office went silent , we were glued to the tube and newspapers and were saddened on how this could have happened, but there really wasn't any coverage about the aftermath after the instigators were caught , this wonderful coverage closes a chapter in many ways for me , and I Thank you Scott for doing that
I was working the switchboard for one of my operators who was on a break in a Ok State facility. I was starting to get phone calls asking about the bombing I was the first to hear at the facility. I ran to my Superintendent’s office and told him we needed to go to the media room and turn the tv on now. I was next to a chair and my legs buckled when I saw what was before me on the tv it looked like Lebanon . My best friend was a EMT with her husband they had a private Ambulance co. She called me asked me if I had heard cancelling our plans for the evening they we’re headed to OK City with their fleet of Ambulances. It was traumatic for all of them I am not sure they ever got over it. This still makes me cry we lost people from our facility that day who went to the Murrah building that morning, We will never forget, but the Oklahoma spirit is very strong. Ty Scott for you’re video I have been watching all you’re videos 💕👍✌️.
Such a touching and beautiful tribute, memorial for such a despicable atrocious act. RIP to all affected. Thank you for this beautiful and heart felt video... The child's card sums it up - 'why can't we all get along' ... Why does such beauty come from such tragedy???...
We have to remember the bad as much as we need to remember the good. The music was perfect as we strolled along with you. These memorials remind future generations of the tragedies and the triumphs of the fallen and of the survival of humans overcoming horrible events. Peace and love will hopefully prevail. Thanks again, Scott.
Thank you for doing this. That day was a nightmare of waiting for my family. My cousin’s office was in that building. Near the front we later found out. We, at some point, got the news that he just happened to have a surprise meeting in another building that morning. He was supposed to have been there. It still haunts him. He was a US Marshal then. He lost friends that day. It was horrible. Why does it take crushing blows like this and 9/11 to make us stop and remember we’re all one nation here. We’re actually all on the same side and deep down love each other? I guess only God knows that answer. It still hurts. It will always hurt.
My dad lost some of his secret service colleagues there that day. I lost it and poured tears when you showed the picture of the baby who died. I put my phone down and couldn't watch the rest of it. It's so important that we don't forget them. Thank you for making this video.
Thank you for another great video. I remember when this happened i was going to college and told my teacher about what had happened and he was shocked.
Thank you SO MUCH for this video . People need to remember this . It's so important . Some many lives were lost . Innocent children, along with men and women . Heaven Bless them all .
My cousins worked for law enforcement in OKC when the bombing happened. They both had to work it. The stress they all went through caused them both to pass away from heart attack's just a few years later. I pray all the families that were affected by this are doing well.
My brother in law and his family live in Oklahoma City OK. We visit them at least once a year and have been at this memorial many times, and also the museum. The memorial is beautiful at night. Also the tree that remained standing after the blast is there. Very sad. However memorial is beautiful.
Thank you for this video. I didn't know that this memorial was this beautifully done or that it was this size. Truly beautiful but incredibly sad. Those poor people.
Thanks for posting this video , came here after my 49ers lost the Super Bowl! Enjoy all your vids dude! Keep it bro! Enjoyed your Grease vids in Huntington Park! I graduated there in 1991! ✌️💪✌️
I was in the 4th grade and lived in Edmond when this happened. I heard it from my school. I will never forget that day. My dad worked at OG&E downtown right by where this happened at the time but didn't have to go to work that morning. This whole tragedy was so sad but the lives lost will never be forgotten.
I remember that day we'll and always will. Thank you for doing a good job about the bombing in okc. I was born & raised in Oklahoma, I have lived here all my life. The overwhelming sadness of that day is well represented in a picture that made front page news, was a fireman coming out of the rubble in tears, carrying a child whom was no longer living. That picture has been imprinted in my mind and that's the first thing I see when the okc bombing is mentioned.
Another great vid Scott, such a terrible loss but im so touched with the memorial, im def going to have to visit here one day. Pay my respects to all those that lost their lives or were injured in this tragedy.🤘🏻🤘🏻
I am from Oklahoma and I still remember where I was when it happened all those years ago. I remember that day in school we did no work in class but watch the news coverage that was going on at that time. This hit Oklahomans hard and we will never forget
I was born and raised in Oklahoma I was living in Oklahoma at the time it all seemed unreal that Oklahoma City could be a target of something this massive.. I have been to the memorial and it is beautiful and very fitting for Oklahoma thank you for sharing this we will never forget.
Hi Scott iv retyped this as my comment gone ? First can i say very heartfelt video of a traumatic place in history ,sadly one of many . I started following you and adam the woo when i had to take early retirement due to a similair experience i survived .But first can i say your videos of places i've either been or want to go have helped with my p t s d and thank you
Oh gosh i sobbed watching this video, it was indeed a very traumatic and horrific bombing..may all the precious children, Mom's, Dad's, brothers, sisters, uncle's, aunt's and cousins..R.I.P. 🙏 Your videos are beautiful.
Sad video about the Oklahoma bombing. Scott you did a great job, my heart goes out to all of the families and the little kids that was tooken from this nightmare keep up the good work can't wait to see what you do next. Peace out.
@@SCOTTONTAPE That tree is a beast and is still standing and growing. When I was there it was a gloomy day and like you said very quiet. To me it felt eerie. I walked through those chairs where the kids passed away and I felt the sadness in the air.
Such a poignant video and I enjoy your honest, heart felt reaction to such a important place. Thank you & for those who may read this, May God bless you and those you love.
So so sad!! A tragic day!! RIP everyone that passed away that day!! So senseless!! Poor little kids too!! Great caring video as always my friend!! Love you Scott and love your channel!! Much love!! 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰❤️❤️💖💖💙💙🌺🌺♥️♥️♥️😢😢😢😢
I hope you made it inside the museum and toured it. A lot of info there. You’ll hear a meeting that was recorded across the street that also recorded the bomb going off. Timothy McVeigh’s car that he was pulled over in is there with the gun found on him. Debris from the site as well. But there is also a memorial at the end for each victim with personal things inside the cases. I live in Tulsa which is about two hours from OKC. I was a freshman in high school at that time. I remember one of the teachers poking her head inside the door of our classroom and telling us, “Someone just bombed the federal building in Oklahoma City.” After that, as we would change classrooms, the TV’s were on to the news stations until we were settled in and the teachers were ready to start class. But you could tell that they’d rather continue watching the news. Also, the crack you see in the museum wall is from that day. There’s an area that they just encased in glass that they left as is from that day inside with the damage that was done. The chairs outside symbolizing the victims light up at night. One of the five “outside” chairs carries the name of a nurse who went in to help but was hit by a falling piece of cement from the building in the head and died from that injury. What you didn’t see from the playground is that they used to have the old playground toys still inside. I don’t know when or why they took them down. I have a feeling people may have climbed over trying to play on them or possibly trying to steal them. I also want to add that the first time I toured it, the man that started the tour out for us at the museum was one of the survivors pulled from the rubble. I believe some of the other workers there may be too.
Thank you Scott for sharing
I remember this horrible day so vividly. Thank you for this beautiful tribute to the innocent victims.
Such a sad day. It did not seem real that so many lost their lives. The city did a beautiful job of taking that terribly scarred building and made a wonderful memorial. Thank you Scott this vlog had to be hard to do.
Thank you my sweet Jana. It truly is a beautiful memorial I wish everyone could see it in person. Sad, haunting, but soothing and beautiful

The survivor tree has some amazing care. It has the most incredible irrigation system of any tree. This event affected so many people here.

Thank you for doing this. That day was a nightmare of waiting for my family. My cousin’s office was in that building. Near the front we later found out. We, at some point, got the news that he just happened to have a surprise meeting in another
building that morning.
How can one person be so morally bankrupt and do this? Scott you are a class act as always ❤️
Thank you for honoring the victims. Being an Oklahoman and knowing relatives of Colton and Chase Smith, this will always have a place in my heart.
My dad lost some of his secret service colleagues there that day.
I lost it and poured tears when you showed the picture of the baby who died. I put my phone down and couldn't watch the rest of it.
It's so important that we don't forget them. Thank you for making this video.

Excellent video!
I have vague memories about this tragedy. I was only 9, but have learned minor details about it as an adult. Absolutely devastating and tragic.
Yup, I went there back in 2017 and stood in some of the exact spots you were video recording.
Such a somber place , and beautiful.

Very well presented.
