The Round Barn and Pops are two of my favorite stops on Route 66! Last time I stopped by the Round Barn I picked up a piece of Butch Breger's artwork and then took a stop by the old Conoco filling station. Ah the Mother Road, I'll be back on it in two days.
Only you Justin, can make a vlog of all the attractions on Route 66 that I have not visited yet! Thanks for your time, energy, talent and for making videos for youtube.
I don't think I will ever get tired of Route 66. It seem to be changing and evolving all the time with new business and roadside attractions to keep people interested in the route.
We. Have just got back to the UK after follow your route and guide on Route 66 from Santa Monica though Chicago! Finding some old unfinished roads and red sand roads along the way! Loved it and thanks - we wouldn't have seen so much without you!
Wish you put the town names in the description. Some of them are stranger names and just saying them often isn't enough. Also it makes it an easy list to refer to when creating itineraries for our own road trips and save us from having to cycle through them again.
WOOOOOT! We are adding Buck to our trip next month. Hopefully the shop is open when we go by. I love the older gentleman at the round barn..he is so cute. We will be passing thru there late in the day so will miss him unfortunately. He looks to fun to talk to.
So great to see you back on the mother road it's where I first started watching you many years ago.In fact I've bought books on route 66 and your name was mentioned in them. Its where you belong man and your part of that history. Thanks Justin.
Good to see a new Route 66 video. Some history often missed about the travel of Route 66, in the 1930's many of the people traveling from Oklahoma to California turned off of "66" and headed to Bakersfield and up Highway 99 looking for farm labor work. So, actually the story of Route 66 includes the San Joaquin Valley and Highway 99.
I love your enthusiasm! Tulsa and that stretch of 66 are places we go to explore when we are visiting family out there. It truly is every bit as amazing as you make it sound!
Tears of respect and happiness ❤😊 i love Route 66 and its people. Thank you, Justin for all you do. Continual prayers for good times and safety while you're on random adventures!!
I love how mr.sam has so much interest? (can't think of the right word right now) in the history of route 66. Great video Justin means a lot to me since I can't really travel too far from California often.
I miss living a couple of blocks from Route 66. On 11th street just east of 129th is an old motor court that someone converted to apartments. And right at the corner of Lynne Lane and 11th St stood an old elementary school that was torn down a few years ago. A lot of stone houses on 11th that were built during the depression. A lot of history just in Tulsa alone.
I love your Route 66 videos. To be part of a Route 66 roadside wonder is an honor you deserve. Again I want to suggest that you re-edit all of your Route 66 vlogs into a state by state Route 66 travelog series.
Some way some how, Justin will never be able to keep his mouth off of random objects lol. But I'm very happy to have been able to help donate for the brick.
OMG!!! You were in Sapulpa a few days ago?!!!! How did I not see you?!!! Not sure if you happen to walk pass a shop that was next to the Berryhill building that is currently being renovated (bricks were painted white). Cause if you did that was my shop you passed by that I am currently working on to be made into a ice cream shop! :D It would be so AMAZING if you ever come back to Sapulpa to have you stop on by and have some delicious treats on the house. Love your videos!!!!
“Some people call him the space cowboy, some call him the gangster of love”! Steve Miller would be proud... congrats on the commemorative brick, Justin! Now you’re “another brick on the wall”(homage to Pink Floyd)
Awesome VLOG!....people are starting to get tired of staying indoors, and living on the internet!!!....They want to get out and explore....get off the highway!!
Probably the insurance rates would forbid people for going up into the gas pump, it's a shame people can't do what was done in the old days because of progress.
