Excellent Did a 202 0n a budget 30 years ago flywheel lighten, starfire rods, balance, fast streetcam, then ground out the intake port divider replaced those 3 head bolts with a cap screw. Drilled out the bolt hole and ran a home made spot facer down for the capscrew to land on. Massively opened up the ports.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Learn by doing.
I think that you have a pretty good deal there with your homebuilt flow bench.
    Keep up the good work.
    Take care, Ed.

Thanks mate I've got a super trend's computerised flow bench but in keeping with the diy spirit of the channel the home built bench is something that almost everyone can build and use that watch the channel Thanks for watching much Appreciate it 👍 🍻

Thanks mate good luck with your flow bench build it goes to show you don't need thousands of dollars in machinery to learn and have fun doing it Thanks for watching 👍 🍻

So what in summary is it worth doing to the manifold?

Porting the plenum and radius the sharp edges at the inside start of the outer runners to plenum and stream line as much as you can the 90* degree bends taking material of f the larger more sweeping side of the bend when porting, if you haven't already have a look at p1 & p2 it'll give you more idea what im talking bout and yes the right porting will make a difference how much depends on what other mods have been done thanks for watching🍻👍

@@pushrodtv6623Thanks for the reply. Yes I watched the other parts. A clear summary with numbered points at the end of the video are always helpful. Despite their popularity videos on modifying 202s are rare on TH-cam. Narlyjohn has a good blog on red motors. Google him up. I am planning to use a Rotec TBI on an HQ racing spec motor which uses a standard inlet manifold. There a couple of TH-cam videos on Rotec.
