Early the 90s and 2000 every time the plane coming from overseas is sprayed with insecticide when it comes to land. But in the recent years i've travelled, i've never seen they are doing that any more. Why? Shouldn't Australia need to be more precautious against the increase number of travellers nowadays bring diseases to Australia?

An Australian or Canadian passenger from any background wouldn't attract attention for having tattoos, nor would a Polynesian. Yes not fair to that Singaporean. He may have made a genuine mistake. After all he did admit to criminal charges (drugs) etc - probably in his teens or early 20’s. If he’s served his time and changed for the better, why not allow him in? It’s been more than a decade since his last offence.
