Recently got the Pro 3, Takumi Sen 9, Boston 12 and received the Adios 8 today. What a lineup. They are great. Adidas foam composition is just extraordinary and can be sumed up as "fun foam". Like it much better than Nike. Pro 3 is a beast. Comfortable, energetic, and snappy. Adios 8 just places the energy on ground to push forward. 💪💥
Prime X Strung 2 said to be released in September. That shoe is going to be a game changer. Super stack responsive Lightstrike Pro and a double carbon plate. CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Big plus for Boston 12 is that it is the only one that comes in wide. At least in Europe. Just got mine recently and with my 2E wide feet (wide forefoot, wide-ish midfoot) it is just perfect. With my feet I don't observe any of of the review complains about too much material in the upper or lacing issues. I also red somewhere the upper on wide is stretchier/softer than on the regular, but I did not have the regular in my hands so can't confirm. Really happy with mine.
I have the Prime X Strung (by far my favorite running shoe), Adios Pro 3, Takumi Sen 8, and recently got the Boston 12. I love them all although the upper on the AP3 takes some fiddling with the lacing to get it feel comfortable with a good lockdown. Of all the running shoes I've tried and still have (Nike, Puma, ASICS, Saucony, New Balance, and Hoka), Adidas shoes just fit fit my feet the best and I also like the feel and ride from Lightstrike Pro more than other midsole foams from other brands. For me, it has the perfect balance between firm and soft and has more of a forward-directed springboard type of propulsion effect than other foams that often feel more like trampoline bouncing me upwards. Will get the Adios 8 as soon as some more attractive colorway (to my eyes) becomes available. Tried the Boston 11 and Adios 7 and they were okay but firmer than I would have liked. I'll definitely get the Prime X Strung 2 as soon as it becomes available.
Got both the SL and Takumi Sen 9. Slow and steady with the SL, pretty firm at first but once you break em in they turn out good. The Takumis however, ohh boy. Once you put em on you know you mean business. A delight to wear during quality speed sesh especially on tracks and even in uphills. Their grip is awesome. Broke my PBs from the 5,10 and Half Marathon in them. Mine's already on 340-ish miles and its still feels great.
Random sales they had 30% last week for me and I got them closer to 110 $ ! Definitely love that about adidas random sales make their line of shoes more affordable. Adios pro 3 I have found on sale twice at ridiculous good deals .
Please review the UA Velociti Flow 3. It hasn't been marketed heavy but I really like what they did for a non plated shoe. Doug smiley impacts starting to show
Boston is 37mm in the heel (Lightstrike Pro and Lightstrike 2.0) while the TS9 is 33 pure LSP. Honestly the Takumi is softer but also thinner... I'm 83kg (200ish lbs) so taking it beyond 10k starts to hurt. Definitely not half marathon. Of you're lighter and efficient do the TS9 but most people will probably do well with the Boston 12.
Wasn’t the Prime X Strung the top shoe the leaders/winners wore during the 2023 Boston Marathon? This is from looking at the broadcast, I can’t tell for sure since they all look similar.
@@runnin3216The prime x is not legal if you're a professional runner or to win the pro division at any major marathon. If you're Robbie or Thomas, or the average Joe you're allowed to wear few prime x at any marathon.if you're an amateur runner.
You can't run slow in Takumi, Robbe. I'm with Thomas on this one. Also funny how you guys pretended their biggest release of the year, the SL, doesn't even exist. 😂 I think we all try to ignore that shoe.
Love the ride of the Boston, but the lacing is just odd. I don't really ever like lace loops, and these ones are especially bizarre with the weird "gusset" and floppy tongue. If they threw classic eyelets and a true gusset they'd have a 10/10 shoe imo.
The Prime X strung 2 sounds like Homer Simpson designed it but in a good way. Like when he designed a car with all the cup holders. Love my Adidas 👌🏻Pro 3s. Anyway 😁
Choosing the top 5 from a lineup of essentially 6 shoes in the current adizero line is a terrible discussion idea. This comes off like a running warehouse video where it’s clearly an advertisement disguised as a review

absolutely loving the ride on the boston 12s. My favourite shoe this year so far
Currently using the Prime X, I absolute love it and ran my PB in half - in 1:30 h
Germany here 🇩🇪 no American says Adidas better than Thomas! Don’t listen to the naysayers. Shows that Adidas is right. Impossible is nothing
He's of German descendant that's maybe why . Check Thomas his last name 😉
Well Asics is the real boss😂
my question finally got its own series. thanks guys

Late August in Europe.
I think the top British guy at the London Marathon (P6) used the Takumi Sen!

Prime X Strung, adios Pro 3, and sen 9 in my rotation. Absolutely incredible

Prime X $TRUNG is clutch for uptempo long runs & threshold training.
The Takumi Sen 9 is special.
Any word on when the pro 4 are coming. My 3 year old over 200 MLS. Should I buy another 3.
Sold my Boston 12. Hated the upper and the lacing but the foam was amazing though NGL.
Adios 8? Looks amazing for people who want a traditional feel
Did Adidas stop production on the Takumi Sen 9? I can't find it anywhere
Been using the Sl's for awhile now so far it's perfect for my daily runs, but I keeping my eye on Takumi Sen 9's

Just bought the Boston 12s, boy is it good
The Prime X Strung is just amazing like no other shoes on the planet
250-300€ way too much
@@tadejdanev5030 so If i get a pair of X2 strung for 167 pounds, is it worth it?
Puma deviate nitro 2 and Adidas Boston 12, what shoes wider toebox? My DN2 size 26,5cm, what size in B12? Thanks!
Love your content!
Right now, Adidas is offering 20% off on their website. I just ordered the Boston 12s for $120.

Got the Boston 11, Takumi Sen 9 as I’m focusing on 5ks more
Would you make a review with Duramo's line!? I feel well with SL model...
Burn. It. Alive! Burn. It. Alive! (I actually love the new Bostons, but I also like burning stuff so...Burn. It. Alive!) 🔥🔥🔥
Saw the cushion line from adidas for ss24 …the line up will be so competitive with all the other brands !!
While Thomas wears Adidas shirt and jacket, Robbe don't give a duck and just wear ASICS 😂
SL to Adios 8 would make much more sense than Boston. Also, probably the best value shoe of the whole adios lineup.
Adizero SL is a dogshit shoe. So excessivly firm out the box that's coming from someone who still has a pair of Boston 10s.
@@YanDaddyy Sounds like a you problem. Plenty of people love that shoe
@@thespecialone7632 adizero sl, not SL20. The updated shoe. Only heard neutral or negative about the sl.
no adios 8???
Which is softer the sen 9 or the Boston 12. I want to pick up one of them and prefer soft rides
Takumi sen 9 is a more stripped down pro 3, snappy and lighter, Boston 12 feels more comfy in my opinion.

Any suggestion Adidas running shoes for super short legs? My height 150cm
Do you know when the Adidas ultra trail shoe is coming out?
adios 8 is my favorite
Is the Adios Pro 4 releasing this year or next?
Is Boston 12 an option for a marathon, if you don't want to fo full carbon?
Yeah

I highly doubt it.. it’s technically “illegal” for elites to wear. They were most likely wearing the Adios Pro 3 possibly the 2.
No, Adios Pro 3. Prime X is illegal for competition.

Is there any better running shoe than 1080v12 if i get it in 50% off in sale here in my country india??
50% off most dedicated running shoes like Saucony, NB, Adidas Adizero or Asics is a good deal. Congrats!
Hope the Prime X Strung 2 is a bit more stable. Have a pair of the Prime X Strung now and struggle to enjoy them

@@Believeintherun yes! Lol I could not remember the name.
With the Pro3 on sale now, would you recommend it over the Boston 12?
Is that SL 20 or adizero sl runnning? Cause sl20 look different in the video
Its SL. SL20 is a very old shoe.
What about the 4d4wrd 2?
Damn, no Adios 8?
Adidas Boston 12 vs Soucony Speed 3
I think we need a takumi vs boston now;)
What's your views about Adidas Response Super 3.0?
The prime x 2 that you guys got to try, well, that’s not the one that’s being released. And the first color way is neon green. What a huge let down.
Thomas: “Robbe we’re making an adidas video”
Robbe: “ok” *wears nothing adidas*
Where the fuck is the Adios 8?! How dare you guys miss out on that.
No adios 8?
Love the cap robbe 😊😅
Fun fact: Miles Morales exclusively wears Adidas in the new Spider-man video games. So there IS a universe where he doesn't wear Nike ;)
MORE MULTIVERSE
Side note and not to be mean but every time I see Robbie all I can think of is Joe Dirt doing a shoe review……. 😊 Dang!
1:06 What the hell😂 Adidas SL20 is a different shoes from Adizero SL. Don’t confuse people with insufficient knowledge.
One BIG CAUTION y'all shoulda put in here is that the Adidas lineup this year comes with a severely high risk of Priapism.
"it does the job for "$120". Inflation
Sup dudes
At 300$ a shoe should have mini jet packs to propel you forward….
Destroyed outer heel on the Takumi Sen 9 after 50k, If you are a heel striker, they are not for you.

SL is rubbish 😢
It's funny because the guy on the left sounds gay and the one on the right looks gay 😅
