Adidas seem to have priced their shoes more fairly than the other big boys for a while now (with the notable exception of the Prime). This shoe is a very welcome addition.

But they have bad product warranty, only 6 months for all from buy day, and you need to return defective item to Adidas even if you send to them photo and all information they ask. Many bad reviews on American cite on shoes that cost more than 200 dollars. My winter ultraboosts wornout in 5 months.

I went with my normal adizero size, 11 US, and can confirm that you should go up a half size. I'm 11.5 US in New balance and saucony, but 11 US in adidas normally, but this is the first time adidas has messed with the sizing. Just get away with it with thin socks.
Agree with you that it is a good shoe, though only just over 20k so far in mine.

I didn't expect it to last that long and I think I will be able to do at least another 100-200km in it. If SL2 is as wide and as comfortable as SL it will be first option for sure.

I was loving the ride on Adidas Sl2. Put over 50KM on them in just a few days. But the heel lift was so bad for me it blistered both my ankles and took a chunk out of my skin. Never had such bad heel rub with any other shoe. The shoe flexes quite a lot compared to the Boston 12 and constantly pushed my heel up even with very tight lacing. They should have shaved weight and used the upper from the Boston 12 which I love.

They work well up to 16-18KM with some pick ups and strides. Did a double in them with 23KM total last week and both runs were peppy. My only issue is blistering and ankle rub which I dont experience with any other Adizero shoe in the same sizing.

I love your channel, and I've watched many running channels. In 11 weeks from watching you I've gone from running from 2 lampposts to 9k using mainly your advice - I've even bought 4 of the shoes you've recommended from the budget velocity nitro 2 to the novablast 4, and the difference has been amazing (I plan to try this shoe too) . I have also recently downloaded the Strava app which was how I found out how far I ran. Previously in the 1970s and 80s we had to use a map and string etc.
I'm a 64 year old former Multi award winning Powerlifter living in the midlands Derby (actually on the Derby Alvaston park run course). I ran the first 2 Derby marathons in 1982 and 83 using library books, Jim Fix's book and boxing training.
The knowledge now compared to then has advanced so much especially around shoes and different styles of training.
You are clearly passionate about the sport and your videos get right to the subject matter too which is why I prefer your channel and many of the lesser running channels seem to agree with your views, especially around daily shoes.
