Yes it should, I check when I'm not certain with the PCPartPicker.com website and it will give you the builds that have been used with it, and in this case yes it will work from what I have been able to find out...You may need to do a BIOS update to get the Ryzen 3000 to work, haven't tested this yet so not certain if it will work straight away though...Thanks...

I spent over 20 years fixing other peoples computers so I've learnt the hard way, then College for a year, then self taught the rest...it's a steep learning curve but I love learning about this stuff...if I ever get the money I'm going to do some Water Cooling tubes and all, pretty much sure how to do it, but cost for everything is pricey...I love working with as many different computer components...there is still so much I don't know but I'll get there one day...appreciate your great comments and hope you have an amazing day...Thanks...

@@geoffford6164 Great choices, just a suggestion the Ryzen 5 2600 is actually on sale cheaper then the 1600 and is a higher end CPU that will still work with the B450 MB you've chosen...good luck with the keyboard there's certainly lots to chose from...

Probably will be purchasing this for a 1080p 144hz build paired with a 2600x. 3600x was tempting, but too many BIOS issues to warrant the gamble right now. Yes, 1080P for sure, I'm fairly certain you'll be able to do 1440p without issue as well, 1080P ultra for sure, 1440P I think it will be fine as well, can't say for certain as I haven't tested it myself and don't want to mislead...will be a rock solid build...have fun...Thanks...
Yes, it will work fine, there is the possibility you could need a BIOS update, but most have worked without it, although I'd update it after because of changes for memory profiles...most B450 Motherboards tested so far have not needed a BIOS Update to start...Hope that helps...Thanks...
Yo quick question, since the mobo only has 3 system fan headers does that mean I can only have 3 fans in my pc? Bcuz I was planning on putting 4 fans in my pc
Just get something like a Deepcool Fan Hub which can accommodate up to 4 Fans and the hub going into the one Fan Header, keep in mind that Fans like a ML120 will use more voltage so can only use 3 of those type, hope that helps...
So I want to buy this with and 3600, I already have bought a kit of 16gb of ram dual channel. I have a 500W PSU that will be enough because of it's efficiency. Hope this Motherboard will be enough for my setup. :D
Yes it's good for Ryzen 3000 series, and 2nd Gen as well, and from the many B450 Motherboards tested the 3rd Gen Ryzen's will work without a BIOS update, however I'd suggest once you get it up and running you update the BIOS then to take advantage of new features...

There have been some BIOS issue's but there rare, there have so far been 9 B450 MB's tested and all worked just fine without a BIOS update, although I would recommend updating the BIOS if your familiar with how to do that...there has only been one Motherboard that I'm aware of that didn't work out of box, that did require a BIOS update so there's a small possibility that you might need to but likely-hood is you'll be fine...in the event you do need to update using the previous Gen CPU and don't have it, AMD has a process by which they will send you one to be able to do the BIOS update, but you will need to return it to them afterwards...this motherboard though will be fine and will work out of box...Hope that helps...Thanks...

Yes it should, most B450 boards have now been tested and all worked straight out of the box, not aware of any that needed a BIOS update first in any of these cases, however after you have your system up and working, I'd recommend updating at that time to the latest BIOS...Thanks...

I am going to purchase this motherboard. Will I have to take off the M.2 cover when installing my GPU or can i keep it on there? (I don't have an m.2 in my build)
@@jeyz11245 There is just the piece that is a bit bigger that goes into the MB first to allow the M.2 to sit level on the MB, and allows the smaller screws to secure it in place, but there's no other longer screws that came with mine...

I think it'll get 3.9GHz Max but you'd be OCing it lots, so just ensure you have a good Aftermarket CPU Cooler and you should be good...now a days though the Ryzen 5 3600 isn't much more and a better buy, just so you know...if it's in the budget that is...Thanks...
Well it depends on the build your doing the B450 Elite is an ATX Motherboard, the ASRock B450M Steel Legend is Micro ATX, so smaller form factor...both boards are great, I have a personally found I really like ASRock Motherboards...I've had great experience with it. If it doesn't matter which size the MB is, then I'd probably chose the ASRock B450m Steel Legend, it has a few more features. Hope that helps some...Thanks...
Hi Dennis. Just about to start a build with this motherboard. New case came with 3 RGB 12v fans but each has a 6 pin connector which will attach to a chassis fan controller along with an IR remote. Guessing this would bypass the FUSION software. Any way of incorporating them onto the motherboard feeds? Also tempted to but 5 more RGB fans but concerned there won't be enough headers. Can you pair them somehow (splitters??). Thanks for any help you can give. Phil H
So the 3 RGB Fans are connecting with the 6 Pin Connectors to the included chassis fan controller with IR Remote all of which is fine, the chassis Fan Controller should then be able to connect to the RGB Header from your Motherboard. Once that's done then it should still be recognized by the MB Software and allow you to control the RGB from the software and as well the IR remote control as well...won't know for sure until you have it all connected but that would seem to be very easily done...if you want to add more RGB Fans I would first look at the Chassis Fan Controller and see how many more fans it will allows and if it won't let you add 3 more then you could get a RGB Fan/Hub that will accommodate them, you would need it to control them all throught the MB Software...you'll also want to ensure it can take the 6 Pin as the normal for 12V RGB is 4 Pins, so that might be a limiting factor...hope that helps a little...There is a company called UpHere that has a fan/RGB Hub that might work as well...
Wow thanks so much for the very quick reply. Didn't realise that the controller can link onto the motherboard, although it has a 4 pin power socket which plugs into one of the lead outputs from the PSU, but no other obvious lead which would go to a header? Cheers Phil H
Sorry Dennis - final question (promise....sort of,lol). The chassis fan controller has a molex connection for power and the lead into the controller is a 4 pin plug. Can I substitute this lead for a 4 pin to 4 pin and plug it into one of the 4 pin fan headers on the motherboard to get it working through FUSION? If so, how many fans can I connect to the chassis controller (it wil take 10 fans & 2 LED strips) without killing the motherboard. Thanks. All of this RGB ARGB stuff is doing my head in!! It's been a steep learning curve, so if I'm understanding it right you have a 4 Pin RGB Splitter, if that's correct then yes you can connect a 2nd 4 Pin RGB connector that could be powered by the RGB Header on the MB, I currently have a RGB Splitter cable that allows 3 RGB 3 Pin 5V to go into it and the other end goes to the RGB Header on the MB...I know for fans a singles MB Header can take up to 1Amp, usually max of 4 standard fans, but I'm not sure of the voltage a MB can handle from RGB...If the Molex is how the controller is powered, I don't think you'd be able to plug it into a 4 Pin Fan Header though, as there needs to be a way for Fusion to detect from a RGB Cable connected to the RGB Header...sorry for delay getting back to you been working on fixing RGB Fusions many problems, thought I'd have it done by Sat but it's taking a bit longer...I have partially solved it though, so hopefully soon...take care...
Hi again Dennis and thanks for the reply. It's not a splitter but a control box which can take 10 fans & 2 LED strips.Powered by a molex connection which also looks like the same point it possibly could connect to a fan header - at moment it's a 4 wire (small PWM?) to the molex. Fans are 12v with a 6 pin connector which plugs into the controller. So the question is....can i substitute the molex connection for a cable with a PWM on what is now the molex end and connect straight to the fan header on the mobo......being aware of the 1 amp/ header rule? Have seen fans online being sold with control boxes that look like they have a cable which fits a header. Just a bit wary of blowing my mobo without seeking advice first - discretion is the better part of valour as they say!!! Cheers for your assistance. Phil UK.
Unfortunately, tests using the X570 boards refused to start with the 3000G, displaying a POST code error 4D. Apparently AMD defined that X570 does not support this processor. AMD, on the other hand, said that motherboard vendors can choose to enable support for Athlon on X570 if they are willing to do so. But the bottom line is that you're probably not going to be able to run the Athlon 3000G on X570 however I didn't test this myself...Hope that helps...Thanks...

I'm planning to get this motherboard and pair it with the new ryzen 3 3100, and mainly use it for gaming but after seeing other videos they said vrm temps in this isn't as good as expected, though considering they're using heavy benchmarking with multiple cores processors unlike ryzen 3 3rd gen. I wonder if this board can handle low temps with 4c/8t procie... thanks
Yes it will work without any problems I'm aware of with the Ryzen 3 3100, the VRM's will be hot under Heavy Benchmarking and Stress Testing but under normal conditions, gaming, and even a mild OC it would be just fine...
Im very late but HELP!! does the board have an rgb header for my fans. I know i have to use a splitter to connect all 3 but is there a header on the board for rgb fans?

I only see the 12V + RGBW which is a big problem for me because my case (ZALMAN Z7 NEO) has a 4 pins connector only... So i don't know where to connect it to have my 4 ventilators (from the case directly, not added) working :(
While it's to early to say with any certainty, it's likely most recent Motherboards, will work with the new GPU's, now whether it will throttle or not is the big question (which I don't know at this time), it'll work with PCIe 3.0 x16 Slot and newer...I'd like to give a more definitive answer but it's just to early to know right now...Thanks...

I buy from Amazon and have only once not gotten what I expected, don't have any experience with EBay though...I suggest checking the vendor rating on Amazon though...for PC parts I mostly go with my local PC Store, or NewEgg I have never had an issue with either...bottom line though is there is risk with whomever you choose though to some extent...
Buy one of that, and I have a Reader problem, I think that modern motherboars no longer have the need to use a reader, my problem is that everything is installed but when inserting a disc is DVD, Blu ray or Data reads but I get a message that has to insert disk and eject it, my CD player is an LG BH16NS40 with SATA connector. What should I do? Do I configure in WINDOWS or through the BIOS? And how can I do it? I also want to ask if the ASATA3 is suitable for any SATA (Hard Disk or CD / DVD / Blu ray Player) or is only special for Solid Disks (SSD). Thank you. Note: my windows is 10 Ver. 1809.
Connecting your LG BH16NS40 is just a matter of connecting to a Sata Power connector, and a Sata Cable to the motherboard. Once it's got the power going to it, Windows will recognize it and work. There may be a need to have software for other things which you should be able to get in the Windows Store for free...Sata3 is suitable for all the devices you mentioned...no special anything needed...Hope that helps and I understood your question ok, if not let me know...Thanks...

I do not know if the error is Windows 10 or the same BIOS and where can I configure it? My version of Windows is 1809
@@saberkura I"m not certain but it's possible it could be a Windows issue, something you can try would be: Boot to the Windows 10 desktop, then launch Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X and clicking Device Manager. Expand DVD/CD-ROM drives, right-click the optical drive listed, then click Uninstall. Exit Device Manager then restart your computer. Windows 10 should then detect the drive then reinstall it, this would ensure your system see's it and configures the drivers correctly for it as well...
I"m not familiar with this ec fw tool, there are other ways to install the BIOS, I posted an answer in another post, that your MB Software can do it, but if you have unreliable internet you can download to a USB Drive, and do it that way ensuring the USB Drive is empty as any data on it could be wiped...Thanks...
Hiya Mr Gamer. I've been running this m/b since Sept 2019 with an R5 3600. BIOS updates are easy via USB through the BIOS screen. Just download the BIOS update from Gigabyte onto a USB stick, Have the USB plugged in & reboot your system and log into the BIOS as the system starts. There's plenty of TH-cam videos on how to update your BIOS this way. I won't go into it, as I don't want to be at fault if you're inexperienced and brick your m/b. I've looked into doing it with the Gigabyte App Centre, but it's out dated, The last time I looked, the BIOS it offers was 2 updates behind. Also, AMD have just mentioned that 400 series m/b's will support the 4000 series cpu with a BIOS update, but you'll need to know what you're doing for that upgrade, as once done, you won't be able to use a 3000 series cpu anymore, it'll be locked to the 4000 series cpu. Good luck with it, It's a pretty good m/b. I'm more than happy with mine.
This issue has been reported in the past, and it was the Power Supply, no one seems to know why but replacing it seemed to work...other factors are ensuring the 8 & 24 Pin Power is fully connected to your MB, the Ram is fully seated and the CPU Cooler is properly fitted on...good luck...

I made my build with this motherboard with a ryzen 5 3600 and 2060 super and g skill 3200 mhz and everything turns as in the fans but the bios won’t boot? Do I have to use a older cpu to update the bios or can I flashback it without any cpu?
It should work without a BIOS update but if your not getting to the BIOS, then yes it's possible a BIOS update could be needed...This board supports 2nd and 3rd Gen though, so it's likely that something else is going on...Thanks...

I’m using this motherboard I finished building my of last night it boots up for about 3-5 seconds then shuts back down with no monitor signal, I’m assuming it’s my ram, what two slots do I need to occupy? I thought and still think I’m following the manual correctly and believe this is the only issue stopping it from booting up.

This was the best performing Motherboard I've used, it will accommodate the Ryzen 7 3700X without need for BIOS update, out of the box, and no Bluetooth that I remember...but a Bluetooth dongle will work just fine and only cost like $9.00...no WiFi either though...it'll work great for gaming and productivity...recognizes M.2 Boot Drives easily...I really liked this MB but everyone has there own preference...take care...Thanks...
Yes, it has both 5V and 12V RGB Headers, the Cooler Master MB520 and Cooler Master RGB Black Edition CPU Cooler will both work great together...Thanks...
I have reviewed a few, the best one of them all that I'd re-buy would be the Corsair 230T Windowed Black Case or Cooler Master H500 both were easy to build in but there's a bit more to the H500 to figure out...Hope that helps...

You won't be able to see the post without a way of sending the signal from the system to a monitor...so while it will start you won't be able to see what it's doing...
@@content1006 Well no, a CPU with no integrated will work great, you can use an older GPU until you get a new one, or get a GPU used for now...but if your going to be a long time getting the GPU and don't want to wait then that would work...
Hello please help. I've build a pc with this motherboard an the lan isnt working. The drivers went wrong and the lan port isnt lighting up as its suppose to do. The network adapter has no network controller. Ive put a ssd from a working pc in it in bootet windows those drivers ( that were there before) disapeared and i still habe no internet
It depends on a lot of info that is missing, but if it's a driver issue, then best would be to download and install the proper driver...if the issue is you can't because the Hard Drive isn't working, you might be better off, to restore the Hard Drive to factory settings and then start over with a clean install of Windows, then to get internet, load the drivers from the CD/DVD that came with the Motherboard...once you've done all that things should be ok...sometimes once a Windows install goes wrong, or a driver goes wrong, it's best to start over, or if it's the SSD or HD restore it and start fresh as well, let me know how things go...good luck and hope you get it figured out...Thanks...
Hello and good day, im still new to pc components and i have cooler master 12v 4 pins rbg strip light and I don't have an idead where to install my 4 pin rgb because the board only has 3 pin rgb header
I have this board and an rx 580, and I don't have sounds if I use hdmi on my tv. The only way I have sounds is if I connect external speakers on the back on the board. Any idea what it's wrong? I have tryed everything.
Check to ensure you plugged in the HD Audio onto the Motherboard, this way it ensures thing are working correctly, the other thing would be to go to your setting for the Audio and ensure you've selected the output as the HDMI, if that doesn't work there might be another one you could choose that would work, ie the Realtek High Definition audio perhaps...Try those first and hope that works for you...
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Nah, already tried all of those. Funny thing is if I use another GPU from Nvidia sound comes fine through hdmi on TV. I don't know what it could be, bios, driver issue or some conflict, but only in this combination. Will have to continue to use external speakers for sound. Thanks for your reply.
@@AnANas00-x3p I think it's possible it could be a driver issue, I'd try updating the driver, and AMD Software to the most current...however there is some research that indicates it could be a Windows 10 driver issue, it's suggested to Open the Device Manager and uninstall your audio drivers, when you restart the computer new drivers will be installed, worth a try...good luck...

Yes it should, I check when I'm not certain with the PCPartPicker.com website and it will give you the builds that have been used with it, and in this case yes it will work from what I have been able to find out...You may need to do a BIOS update to get the Ryzen 3000 to work, haven't tested this yet so not certain if it will work straight away though...Thanks...

I spent over 20 years fixing other peoples computers so I've learnt the hard way, then College for a year, then self taught the rest...it's a steep learning curve but I love learning about this stuff...if I ever get the money I'm going to do some Water Cooling tubes and all, pretty much sure how to do it, but cost for everything is pricey...I love working with as many different computer components...there is still so much I don't know but I'll get there one day...appreciate your great comments and hope you have an amazing day...Thanks...

Yes, it will work fine, there is the possibility you could need a BIOS update, but most have worked without it, although I'd update it after because of changes for memory profiles...most B450 Motherboards tested so far have not needed a BIOS Update to start...Hope that helps...Thanks...

Yo quick question, since the mobo only has 3 system fan headers does that mean I can only have 3 fans in my pc? Bcuz I was planning on putting 4 fans in my pc
Just get something like a Deepcool Fan Hub which can accommodate up to 4 Fans and the hub going into the one Fan Header, keep in mind that Fans like a ML120 will use more voltage so can only use 3 of those type, hope that helps...
So I want to buy this with and 3600, I already have bought a kit of 16gb of ram dual channel. I have a 500W PSU that will be enough because of it's efficiency. Hope this Motherboard will be enough for my setup. :D

Yes it's good for Ryzen 3000 series, and 2nd Gen as well, and from the many B450 Motherboards tested the 3rd Gen Ryzen's will work without a BIOS update, however I'd suggest once you get it up and running you update the BIOS then to take advantage of new features...

There have been some BIOS issue's but there rare, there have so far been 9 B450 MB's tested and all worked just fine without a BIOS update, although I would recommend updating the BIOS if your familiar with how to do that...there has only been one Motherboard that I'm aware of that didn't work out of box, that did require a BIOS update so there's a small possibility that you might need to but likely-hood is you'll be fine...in the event you do need to update using the previous Gen CPU and don't have it, AMD has a process by which they will send you one to be able to do the BIOS update, but you will need to return it to them afterwards...this motherboard though will be fine and will work out of box...Hope that helps...Thanks...

Yes it should, most B450 boards have now been tested and all worked straight out of the box, not aware of any that needed a BIOS update first in any of these cases, however after you have your system up and working, I'd recommend updating at that time to the latest BIOS...Thanks...

@@jeyz11245 There is just the piece that is a bit bigger that goes into the MB first to allow the M.2 to sit level on the MB, and allows the smaller screws to secure it in place, but there's no other longer screws that came with mine...

I think it'll get 3.9GHz Max but you'd be OCing it lots, so just ensure you have a good Aftermarket CPU Cooler and you should be good...now a days though the Ryzen 5 3600 isn't much more and a better buy, just so you know...if it's in the budget that is...Thanks...

Well it depends on the build your doing the B450 Elite is an ATX Motherboard, the ASRock B450M Steel Legend is Micro ATX, so smaller form factor...both boards are great, I have a personally found I really like ASRock Motherboards...I've had great experience with it. If it doesn't matter which size the MB is, then I'd probably chose the ASRock B450m Steel Legend, it has a few more features. Hope that helps some...Thanks...

Hi Dennis. Just about to start a build with this motherboard. New case came with 3 RGB 12v fans but each has a 6 pin connector which will attach to a chassis fan controller along with an IR remote. Guessing this would bypass the FUSION software. Any way of incorporating them onto the motherboard feeds? Also tempted to but 5 more RGB fans but concerned there won't be enough headers. Can you pair them somehow (splitters??). Thanks for any help you can give. Phil H
So the 3 RGB Fans are connecting with the 6 Pin Connectors to the included chassis fan controller with IR Remote all of which is fine, the chassis Fan Controller should then be able to connect to the RGB Header from your Motherboard. Once that's done then it should still be recognized by the MB Software and allow you to control the RGB from the software and as well the IR remote control as well...won't know for sure until you have it all connected but that would seem to be very easily done...if you want to add more RGB Fans I would first look at the Chassis Fan Controller and see how many more fans it will allows and if it won't let you add 3 more then you could get a RGB Fan/Hub that will accommodate them, you would need it to control them all throught the MB Software...you'll also want to ensure it can take the 6 Pin as the normal for 12V RGB is 4 Pins, so that might be a limiting factor...hope that helps a little...There is a company called UpHere that has a fan/RGB Hub that might work as well...

Sorry Dennis - final question (promise....sort of,lol). The chassis fan controller has a molex connection for power and the lead into the controller is a 4 pin plug. Can I substitute this lead for a 4 pin to 4 pin and plug it into one of the 4 pin fan headers on the motherboard to get it working through FUSION? If so, how many fans can I connect to the chassis controller (it wil take 10 fans & 2 LED strips) without killing the motherboard. Thanks. All of this RGB ARGB stuff is doing my head in!! It's been a steep learning curve, so if I'm understanding it right you have a 4 Pin RGB Splitter, if that's correct then yes you can connect a 2nd 4 Pin RGB connector that could be powered by the RGB Header on the MB, I currently have a RGB Splitter cable that allows 3 RGB 3 Pin 5V to go into it and the other end goes to the RGB Header on the MB...I know for fans a singles MB Header can take up to 1Amp, usually max of 4 standard fans, but I'm not sure of the voltage a MB can handle from RGB...If the Molex is how the controller is powered, I don't think you'd be able to plug it into a 4 Pin Fan Header though, as there needs to be a way for Fusion to detect from a RGB Cable connected to the RGB Header...sorry for delay getting back to you been working on fixing RGB Fusions many problems, thought I'd have it done by Sat but it's taking a bit longer...I have partially solved it though, so hopefully soon...take care...

It's not a splitter but a control box which can take 10 fans & 2 LED strips.Powered by a molex connection which also looks like the same point it possibly could connect to a fan header - at moment it's a 4 wire (small PWM?) to the molex. Fans are 12v with a 6 pin connector which plugs into the controller. So the question is....can i substitute the molex connection for a cable with a PWM on what is now the molex end and connect straight to the fan header on the mobo......being aware of the 1 amp/ header rule? Have seen fans online being sold with control boxes that look like they have a cable which fits a header. Just a bit wary of blowing my mobo without seeking advice first - discretion is the better part of valour as they say!!! Cheers for your assistance. Phil UK.

Unfortunately, tests using the X570 boards refused to start with the 3000G, displaying a POST code error 4D. Apparently AMD defined that X570 does not support this processor. AMD, on the other hand, said that motherboard vendors can choose to enable support for Athlon on X570 if they are willing to do so. But the bottom line is that you're probably not going to be able to run the Athlon 3000G on X570 however I didn't test this myself...Hope that helps...Thanks...
Hi, i don't know if you'd see this but i wanna ask anyway. I'm planning to get this motherboard and pair it with the new ryzen 3 3100, and mainly use it for gaming but after seeing other videos they said vrm temps in this isn't as good as expected, though considering they're using heavy benchmarking with multiple cores processors unlike ryzen 3 3rd gen. I wonder if this board can handle low temps with 4c/8t procie... thanks
Yes it will work without any problems I'm aware of with the Ryzen 3 3100, the VRM's will be hot under Heavy Benchmarking and Stress Testing but under normal conditions, gaming, and even a mild OC it would be just fine...

While it's to early to say with any certainty, it's likely most recent Motherboards, will work with the new GPU's, now whether it will throttle or not is the big question (which I don't know at this time), it'll work with PCIe 3.0 x16 Slot and newer...I'd like to give a more definitive answer but it's just to early to know right now...Thanks...

Buy one of that, and I have a Reader problem, I think that modern motherboars no longer have the need to use a reader, my problem is that everything is installed but when inserting a disc is DVD, Blu ray or Data reads but I get a message that has to insert disk and eject it, my CD player is an LG BH16NS40 with SATA connector. What should I do? Do I configure in WINDOWS or through the BIOS? And how can I do it? I also want to ask if the ASATA3 is suitable for any SATA (Hard Disk or CD / DVD / Blu ray Player) or is only special for Solid Disks (SSD). Thank you. Note: my windows is 10 Ver. 1809.
Connecting your LG BH16NS40 is just a matter of connecting to a Sata Power connector, and a Sata Cable to the motherboard. Once it's got the power going to it, Windows will recognize it and work. There may be a need to have software for other things which you should be able to get in the Windows Store for free...Sata3 is suitable for all the devices you mentioned...no special anything needed...Hope that helps and I understood your question ok, if not let me know...Thanks...

@@saberkura I"m not certain but it's possible it could be a Windows issue, something you can try would be: Boot to the Windows 10 desktop, then launch Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X and clicking Device Manager. Expand DVD/CD-ROM drives, right-click the optical drive listed, then click Uninstall. Exit Device Manager then restart your computer. I"m not familiar with this ec fw tool, there are other ways to install the BIOS, I posted an answer in another post, that your MB Software can do it, but if you have unreliable internet you can download to a USB Drive, and do it that way ensuring the USB Drive is empty as any data on it could be wiped...Thanks...
Hiya Mr Gamer.
I've been running this m/b since Sept 2019 with an R5 3600. BIOS updates are easy via USB through the BIOS screen. Just download the BIOS update from Gigabyte onto a USB stick, Have the USB plugged in & reboot your system and log into the BIOS as the system starts. There's plenty of TH-cam videos on how to update your BIOS this way. I won't go into it, as I don't want to be at fault if you're inexperienced and brick your m/b.
I've looked into doing it with the Gigabyte App Centre, but it's out dated, The last time I looked, the BIOS it offers was 2 updates behind.
Also, AMD have just mentioned that 400 series m/b's will support the 4000 series cpu with a BIOS update, but you'll need to know what you're doing for that upgrade, as once done, you won't be able to use a 3000 series cpu anymore, it'll be locked to the 4000 series cpu.

Mh got a Problem..Power on mainboard LEDs are white for 1 second and then dead..but the rgb ram LEDs are working but Nothing lese 😥
This issue has been reported in the past, and it was the Power Supply, no one seems to know why but replacing it seemed to work...other factors are ensuring the 8 & 24 Pin Power is fully connected to your MB, the Ram is fully seated and the CPU Cooler is properly fitted on...good luck...

I made my build with this motherboard with a ryzen 5 3600 and 2060 super and g skill 3200 mhz and everything turns as in the fans but the bios won’t boot? Do I have to use a older cpu to update the bios or can I flashback it without any cpu?
It should work without a BIOS update but if your not getting to the BIOS, then yes it's possible a BIOS update could be needed...This board supports 2nd and 3rd Gen though, so it's likely that something else is going on...Thanks...

I’m using this motherboard I finished building my of last night it boots up for about 3-5 seconds then shuts back down with no monitor signal, I’m assuming it’s my ram, what two slots do I need to occupy? I thought and still think I’m following the manual correctly and believe this is the only issue stopping it from booting up.

This was the best performing Motherboard I've used, it will accommodate the Ryzen 7 3700X without need for BIOS update, out of the box, and no Bluetooth that I remember...but a Bluetooth dongle will work just fine and only cost like $9.00...no WiFi either though...it'll work great for gaming and productivity...recognizes M.2 Boot Drives easily...I really liked this MB but everyone has there own preference...take care...Thanks...

I have reviewed a few, the best one of them all that I'd re-buy would be the Corsair 230T Windowed Black Case or Cooler Master H500 both were easy to build in but there's a bit more to the H500 to figure out...Hope that helps...
Okay quick question so if i buy a cpu without integrated graphics and no actual gpu installed will it post with the onboard graphics? I know it is bad but im gonna buy a graphics crad soon too
You won't be able to see the post without a way of sending the signal from the system to a monitor...so while it will start you won't be able to see what it's doing...

@@content1006 Well no, a CPU with no integrated will work great, you can use an older GPU until you get a new one, or get a GPU used for now...but if your going to be a long time getting the GPU and don't want to wait then that would work...

Even if Gigabyte Did have a BIOS update that would have limited pciE4 support, AMD has made it clear it would remove this in the next BIOS release.

I've build a pc with this motherboard an the lan isnt working. The drivers went wrong and the lan port isnt lighting up as its suppose to do.
The network adapter has no network controller. Ive put a ssd from a working pc in it in bootet windows those drivers ( that were there before) disapeared and i still habe no internet
It depends on a lot of info that is missing, but if it's a driver issue, then best would be to download and install the proper driver...if the issue is you can't because the Hard Drive isn't working, you might be better off, to restore the Hard Drive to factory settings and then start over with a clean install of Windows, then to get internet, load the drivers from the CD/DVD that came with the Motherboard...once you've done all that things should be ok...sometimes once a Windows install goes wrong, or a driver goes wrong, it's best to start over, or if it's the SSD or HD restore it and start fresh as well, let me know how things go...good luck and hope you get it figured out...Thanks...
Hello and good day, im still new to pc components and i have cooler master 12v 4 pins rbg strip light and I don't have an idead where to install my 4 pin rgb because the board only has 3 pin rgb header
If you don't have the 3 Pin ARGB Header you'll need either a RGB Hub or use a Converter to make the RGB Header a ARGB Header. Thanks.
I have this board and an rx 580, and I don't have sounds if I use hdmi on my tv.
The only way I have sounds is if I connect external speakers on the back on the board.
Any idea what it's wrong? I have tryed everything.
Check to ensure you plugged in the HD Audio onto the Motherboard, this way it ensures thing are working correctly, the other thing would be to go to your setting for the Audio and ensure you've selected the output as the HDMI, if that doesn't work there might be another one you could choose that would work, ie the Realtek High Definition audio perhaps...Try those first and hope that works for you...
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Nah, already tried all of those. Funny thing is if I use another GPU from Nvidia sound comes fine through hdmi on TV.
I don't know what it could be, bios, driver issue or some conflict, but only in this combination. Will have to continue to use external speakers for sound.

@@AnANas00-x3p I think it's possible it could be a driver issue, I'd try updating the driver, and AMD Software to the most current...however there is some research that indicates it could be a Windows 10 driver issue, it's suggested to Open the Device Manager and uninstall your audio drivers, when you restart the computer new drivers will be installed, worth a try...good luck...
