Excellent choice. I just subscribed. I love watching DR videos. Takes me back to when I first started modding mine almost 7 years ago now and still going strong. Enjoy!
Good choice. Dr650 is a great bike. Also very easy to get help anywhere in Australia if any mechanical issues as they are very low tech and well known bikes. Also parts available in most large rural towns
@@MademotoADV With the aftermarket for the DR being almost limitless, it's definitely a keeper. I have mine set up for more dirt/adventure. All the mods have been figured out and there are 1000's of videos going over them also.
Good decision, you can still repair a lot of things on the Suzuki yourself, there are no electronic problems and if you crash off-road, not much can go wrong and the motorcycle probably didn't cost much either.
Can't lose with the DR. Though I couldn't disagree more about your review on the triumph. I've owned it since March and I find it to be very well built. And it SCREAMS Triumph. It's a great and unique riding experience IMO. But not much of an adventure bike :-)
I was able to test the Kove 450 Rally in the spring, a dream of a lightweight adventure motorcycle. Above all, you can get it back up again without any problems after a fall, it is light and extremely easy to carry. You don't need to change anything on the motorcycle, just start it and drive. Unfortunately, it is only available here as a grey import and is quite expensive.
En México la marca Royal Enfield se deprecia bastante, y con la ya mencionada salida de la Himalayan 650cc nuevamente depreciaran su producto en menos de un año (Himalayan 450) saludos

Totally agree! It is still the best option at the time.
Himalayan def not known for reliability multiple problems, including chasis breaking on the older and newer models
A DR650 should be in every dual sport/adventure riders garage. The aftermarket support is huge.
I wasn't planing to own this DR for long time but now I am having second thought...

Enjoyed your video, good choice. I wish we could still get XR650/400 and DR650 here in UK
DR650 is wildly popluar in the downunder...I guess I am lucky :)
Great choice👍🏽
Thanks 👍
Great choice, can’t go wrong with the DR!
Thanks! that was the exactly reason I went with the DR
Great choice. Hopefully you get 12 months out of this purchase. Cheers mate
my goal is 3 months but we will see :)
@@MademotoADV 😅
I've already seen a few 450MTs come up for sale second hand ;-)
Where, I will buy one.
I went from the 2016 Africa Twin to the Dr650 just for the weight. I ride alone most.
Switch from a heavy bike to a lightweight bike is so liberating.
Great choice I love my dr650
Cheers!

Thanks those are some very good point!
What about Yamaha xt600e? Seem prety good buy to.
I didn't have a chance to research the XT600, but it seems like a solid choice
awesome choice, i wish these were available in India.
Maybe one day!

Thanks for sharing. It was only a first impression and I guess from a owner like yourself would be a better opinion. Glad that you enjoy the Truimph!
Congrats. I'm holding off for Kove to come to Australia.
Any news on the arrival date?
