Welcome back to my camping journey! In today’s adventure, I’m taking my newly renovated DR650 adventure bike on a solo camping trip to the stunning Blue Mountains, located just west of Sydney.
With wild weather made to the news, strong winds blowing from the west, fallen trees blocking roads, and rough off-road conditions, I had to make detour after detour just to reach my campsite at Wheeny Creek, a beautiful valley next to a creek, completed sheltered from the wild wind.
I test out my brand-new tent and some awesome new gear. I’ll also be cooking up a tasty dinner recipe that I’ve been excited to try-perfect for a night in the great outdoors. Plus, what’s a camping trip without a cold craft beer by the campfire? As I wind down, I’ll soak in the peaceful sounds of nature, whistling bellbirds and running water.
