You sing with such a spirit, your energy shines through in your performances and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. @@glennwillow5124 Early indications are that I am especially gifted at being retired, being the man who has way too many hobbies. I am quite eager to use for my own purposes the best part of each day. I haven't been retired very long, but I have already experienced the benefits of being well rested and able to dive into stuff each day with a fresh brain and way more energy than what was left over after a normal workday. Deciding which rabbit hole to go down, day after day, is a new and sometimes daunting challenge...

@@bartp999 Hi Bart. The right hand picking pattern is generally Thumb--thumb--index--middle. It's a simple arpeggio where on each beat of a 4/4 measure a string is plucked. I debated whether I should do some talking after the video, but so many people on TH-cam are so impatient with any talking at all, that I have pretty much given up talking on a tutorial. Most people want only what I have already provided: a video and the chords so they can see what I am doing and how I am doing it. I hope you can still get something out of this. Regards, Glenn

Wow. Well done. I remember learning a piece of music vocally called teacher children by Crosby stills Nash and Young. I learned that in a group called one city. I haven't sang that in a long time. The group, Hanson, Taylor, Isaac, and Zak, did a cover of teacher children, and that is an awesome piece. Anyway, beautifully done.

The simple answer is, for as long as I can remember. It's hard to know exactly how long I've been doing each musical thing, because all of them are happening at the same time. Some of them I know, like the flute for example. I've been playing the flute for 23 years. the harmonica I started back in 2006, so that would probably be 18 years. I've been playing the recorder for about nine years. The piano I've probably been doing that for 20 something years. I don't really know. As I said, it's hard to tell exactly how long I've been doing music.
