Hearing that motif again at the end of Season 3, but in a new context with the ship happily being put to rest with dignity and Picard's son off to serve on a new Enterprise, just hit me so hard. What a piece of music.
Absolutely spot on with our comment here. It's music from the end of the first movie GENERATIONS and even though that ship was gone, it was about renewal and hope for the future, what this series is truly all about. You captured it well with your comment. Well said.

I think it's an amazing score, full of adventure, thrilling emotion and nostalgia. A great piece of work for a franchise that deserved a powerful soundtrack like this one, modern and at the same time, respectful with their own tradition. We want more music like that ❤❤!! I love how every theme or overture for all nine movies and the series from the TNG era (minus LD and Prodigy) are featured in some way and ways consistent to when we first them, some decades ago. The alternating use of the TMP March and the TNG overture, the ever so subtle weaving of the Generations theme as the crew steps back onto the D, even the combat theme from WoK as the TITAN and SHRIKE do their little dance of death and portals. The lingering tones of Voyager's theme as the viewer understands that Seven momentary was back on her home. Even Voyage Home's can be heard as the viewer settles on the BOUNTY. Nuanced, pulling from all the eras, beautifully interwoven hints of what was, what is and what will be. This music tells the story all by itself.
1:38:38 This sounds quite like something Howard Shore would write. It gives the Borg a very Nazgûl-like feel of terror. 2:07:10 Stephen Barton didn't write this. John Williams did, for Return of the Jedi. This is version 2.0 of the Death Star Trench Run....thank you, Terry Matalas!
This is pure magic. As Series 3 was a tribute to TNG, this is a real tribute to the whole Star Trek musical legacy: Goldsmith, Horner, of course but.... I heard some Rosenman at some point? And more than a nod to the score by McCarthy for Generations. It has got it all. Really really well done to Stephen Barton and Frederik Wiedmann for sprucing up their own new fantastic material with (not so hidden) gems.
I have loved this season. It may be a bit nostalgia heavy and gimmicky at times but it's been great and the music has been fabulous. I hope Stephen Barton gets his dues.
The homages this soundtrack makes to the great film soundtracks of Star Trek is just fantastic. The nods to TMP and ST:3 made me jump up and down. And yes, "Make It So" is hype af.
The best TNG film, just brilliant. I cant even rewatch it, because I know I'll never capture that emotion again of when I watched it the first time. I dont want it to deminish with multiple viewings.

"The missing part of me" Stunned me with the feels. Star Trek Picard is an understated masterpiece in Audio,Visuals and lore faithfulness. Now we trekkies can forgive for killing off Data; even more is that it never happened. All I hope is that Paramount see's the hype of Picard and Strange new world generated and keep it flowing cause we love this, we love star trek.

Since no one else responded yet, I'll go ahead and say this is my favorite moment in the season. The resolution between Data & Lore was immense. It was the final stepping stone to Data's search for humanity. Spot being the final catalyst was ;;;;;_;;;;;;
I can put this on as background music and enjoy every ounce of it, but for some reason that Wrath of Khan cue at 1:11:59 and 1:12:17 always makes me stop whatever I'm doing just to vibe for a minute. Just one of many goodies packed into this incredible suite.
I agree that the Star Trek fanfares in Make it So and towards the end are amazing, but the slow horns doing the Klingon theme at 54:16 is just as amazing, and gosh I wish there was more of that!
"Make It So" is simply fantastic, and dare I say it, at least the equal of anything Jerry Goldsmith or James Horner ever did. It's got so much depth and layers to it.

I think it's an amazing score, full of adventure, thrilling emotion and nostalgia. A great piece of work for a franchise that deserved a powerful soundtrack like this one, modern and at the same time, respectful with their own tradition.
We want more music like that ❤❤!!
I wish more series would follow this path with their soundtracks.
Thank you Lakeshore for letting us listen to this whole portion of this serie's soundtrack.
The best season the best soundtrack. It has everything love it ..
2:24:21 when picard and riker is inside the wreckage of the enterprise d.
Picard: after all number 1, we're only mortal
Riker: Speak for yourself sir, i plan to live forever
the composer wove some many musical moments from nearly all the films into this score. this "Generations" theme is terrific here.
1:55:28 - Where people cried with joy 🙂
Friggin' awesome finale season. Beatiful tie-up of so many things from TNG, VOY, DS9 and the movies. Absolutely loved it!
1:55:28 Wow, what a moment.
I will buy this album... If you release it on CD.
Waiting for the CD
1:52:43 - 1:53:20 Gets me right behind the Comm badge every time. Reminds me of the opening notes of the reveal of the refit Enterprise in Spacedock
Lordy.... Leaving Spacedock is so damn good! A mixture of so much beautiful Trek.
Grammy! Saturn award! Salilate awards! ❤
A New Family (46:13) is one of my favorite tracks in the soundtrack.
This soundtrack is a wonderful gift to those fans who still had hope. Thank you.
Preordered the vinyl but please also release a CD
The music pulled you into the story this season. It was like it was a character itself.
What an amazing composition. Glorious!
The homages this soundtrack makes to the great film soundtracks of Star Trek is just fantastic. The nods to TMP and ST:3 made me jump up and down. And yes, "Make It So" is hype af.
1:50:52 "My friends, we've come home."
40. 'The Missing Part of Me' is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. That swell at 2:18:10 , my god!
The best TNG film, just brilliant. I cant even rewatch it, because I know I'll never capture that emotion again of when I watched it the first time. I dont want it to deminish with multiple viewings.
Outstanding soundtrack!
What an amazing soundtrack to fit an amazing season of Star Trek! First Trek I’ve really enjoyed since Enterprise ended 😢❤🎉
Goldsmith and Horner I think would be proud.
Why no CD? anyone can rip the MP3 off of youtube. But I would willingly support the composer and musicians and buy a CD with much higher sound quality than an MP3.
I keep coming back to hear this again and again and again...
I'm not crying.. you are!
This is incredible. Thank you for uploading!!
ABSOLUTELY AN ENJOYABLE DAY AT WORK! I LISTENED TO THE WHOLE ALBUM THE QUALITY OF THE MUSICIANS AND THE WAY THAT THE SCORE WAS COMPOSED DURING THE DIFFERENT SCENES WAS INCREDIBLY TALENTED GREAT JOB EVERYBODY INVOLVED! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR NOT HAVING A MILLION TH-cam COMMERCIALS POP UP! I WILL DEFINITELY BE PURCHASING THIS ALBUM!
1:53:22 "She is perfect, Geordie"
"The missing part of me" Stunned me with the feels. Star Trek Picard is an understated masterpiece in Audio,Visuals and lore faithfulness. Now we trekkies can forgive for killing off Data; even more is that it never happened. All I hope is that Paramount see's the hype of Picard and Strange new world generated and keep it flowing cause we love this, we love star trek.
1:54:31 Wherever you go, we go.
1:39:37 Frontier Day
2:27:37 The Stars
39:30
47:13 and 1:03:28 "A New Family" is beautiful, I love it! It feels like coming home.
The Missing Part Of Me... that track sums it all up who loved TNG, doesn't it?
I realized on my fourth replay of this soundtrack that I'm inserting the engine start up sound at 1:55:00. This has got to be one of the most iconic Star Trek moments to be made in the last 20 years.
Make It So 1:50:01 nuff said
MAGNIFICENT‼️ SOUND TRACK & ACTION PACKED EDGE OF YOUR SEAT SUSPENSE EXCITMENT‼️
AND THIS IS WITHOUT PICTURES! IMAGINE WHAT THE SHOW WAS LIKE!!‼️
😃🖖🖖🖖♥️
1:30:29 "We... are me"
Since no one else responded yet, I'll go ahead and say this is my favorite moment in the season. The resolution between Data & Lore was immense. It was the final stepping stone to Data's search for humanity. Spot being the final catalyst was ;;;;;_;;;;;;
This deserves to sit alongside Goldsmith’s iconic TNG movie soundtracks, this soundtrack is itself one of the greats.
I haven't even bothered to listen here, just instantly purchased the flac version! This music was done with passion.
I can put this on as background music and enjoy every ounce of it, but for some reason that Wrath of Khan cue at 1:11:59 and 1:12:17 always makes me stop whatever I'm doing just to vibe for a minute. Just one of many goodies packed into this incredible suite.
The ending of make it so, perfect.
They did a real good job on this, love it all...especially the mix and match of other Star Trek soundtracks.
loved the music in Season 3 great job guys
1:01:06 I can hear the Intrepid spooling up power in my head. Pissed off, Bussard collector burning, and ready to fire.
The fact Terry Matalas picked up composer Stephen Barton from the The TItanfall game series into the Star Trek fold was the right choice.
I've had many great moments watching some movies e shows, but this my friends, this is pure joy and happiness.
I agree that the Star Trek fanfares in Make it So and towards the end are amazing, but the slow horns doing the Klingon theme at 54:16 is just as amazing, and gosh I wish there was more of that!
This is WONDERFUL!. Please Terry Matalas & crew, carry on with the post TNG era!!!
44:57 "LaForge, gun it! Stay inside!"
an epic soundtrack, fitting for the end of an epic saga of sci fi tv; i have this on repeat - masterpiece
"Make It So" is simply fantastic, and dare I say it, at least the equal of anything Jerry Goldsmith or James Horner ever did. It's got so much depth and layers to it.
Best season accompanied by the best soundtrack !
Dominion at 1:19:27 is a total masterpiece and my favorite song of the soundtrack.
Has a very "London Calling" vibe from ST:ID - also a great cue.
Dominion giving me some serious Adagio for TRON feels. Beautiful piece.
I hope this is released on CD! I don't think mp3s will do these tracks justice!
It's a 24 Bit/44.1kHz ALAC Lossless on Apple Music
The 24bit lossless FLAC is on Bandcamp for 10 bucks
Love this soundtrack and the vinyl looks amazing. Can’t wait until May 12th to get a copy 😊
2:27:15 Possibly one of the most inspirational music ever from Star Trek
Spoiler below:
(it's also played at the moment when Seven hugs Sidney aboard the Titan)
