I've only ever played two ranked matches on office and both were with full stacks of cheaters, but this video almost makes me want to play it again

I'm global and my stack rarely runs into cheaters. If anything I've seen less cheaters since cs2 was released for some reason. Even with Overwatch being disabled.

@@lordssad3998 you can definitely tell they’re aged though when you look at the very polygon-esque sleeves on them when pulling out knife. Thats my only gripe about current ones. Otherwise, i would rock them every map.

As a nuke employee, it is very interesting to see a tighter knit community on a map that most new players shy away from, unlike with Nuke. Great video, might queue for Office after this

One of the original CS 1.6 maps, seeing there still being a community for it on CS:GO is such a nice feeling. Even if I find cheaters just cause I play unranked, it might be a good game. Hopefully I and other people won't do the same as Hackz did.. Rest In Peace, Hackz
As a constant Office player, I do feel that office is basically the TF2 community variant of CS. Fun Fact the first map I've played is Office.
I Had a friend that passed away due to depression and stuff and since then ive been trying my best to cope with his passing, seeing that Hackz died reminds me of how we played many great FPS Titles with my friend, it was really good while it lasted but sadly depression is like playing russian roulette with a glock.
As a member of the cult the map has always had a special part in my heart, i joined the cult on accident but i love it
I used to play office only in around 2016~ and man was it fun, and i made a lot of friends and good relationships. I quit in around 2018 due to just boredom, but somehow a lot of my friends list still only plays office and they’re still grinding it out to this day

The only time I played office competitive was in a 5 stack with EU people (I'm NA) and it was amazing. Defense side was just a stall fest cycling mollies and smokes, while learning the optimal smokes and mostly playing long w/ someone else for trading and push connector if they took main. Attack side was also interesting because the strat that worked out for us was to spam flashbangs and rush paper with XM's or SMG's, which surprisingly worked and got us the game. Very interesting game indeed, the enemy team was also chill and we were having a great time. I shall visit office again in SoloQ thanks to this video

office was the first map i ever played in CS:S and has been my favourite map since, even if its unbalanced it just feels good man
It amazes me that after so many months I finally found this video, given by a friend to ask me if I knew anybody from this clip. I think you did a wonderful job portraying a portion of Offices ever growing community. I started playing Office in 2014 and a small handful of OG Office mains are still playing today, post-update to CS2. Puts a smile to see some of my friends making it to this video and going as far as promoting the map.
There is a massive story to Office's community and a lot of things have been looked over in the years. New players step in, some old step out but the community is still the same.
If ya see me roaming the vast carpeted halls of Office, feel free to say hello. Office Club for life.

I've played like 10 matches in a row in office in the last 4 days, I encountered everyone: the noobs, the tryhards, the trolls, the kind people, and I think I like office because it's all I really want to play now! maybe I've been sucked into the cult without even knowing it, great video!

i started playing office in 2020 or so. it quickly became my favorite map and it’s now my most played map out of all of them.
Queued office with a 4 stack and the random we got was a dude named Walmart with a Walmart logo pfp, he was just the coolest dude, didn’t use voice chat only text, everyone kept saying “I love you Walmart” whenever he’d get a kill or something, Walmart, if you see this, we love you

my friends were office cultists, i shit u not we played 200 games straight of office, it was a goal. i have now converted them to being grinders and weve got a ESEA team but we still end our nights with office games cause the map is just the perfect cool down to just fuck around and have fun

Wow, amazing video! When I watched this video, I got so nostalgic. Back in 2016-17 and 18, we had a cult like community on vertigo before it got an overhaul. I probably was the best time I ever had in csgo. I miss those times. Never have I ever had over 60 people online who want to play the same map and five stack every time. And the map had so many different boosts, one ways, pixel spots. It was so fun. #bringbackvertigo

Becoming a part of a tight knit community like this is something my lonely self really has yearned for for years, but I always seem to just back away and get very nervous. I love seeing these little niche communities become created from something so out of the ordinary, it really also shows just how deep these Valve games really are and how much they mean to people.
Office always was one of my favorite maps overall because I can be as dumb as I already am without the pressure of being supposed to not be shit.

I feel ashamed I use to play with him and it's only 'cuz my 5 stack invited him. At the time we didn't really know he was cheating, people thought he was sus, but so were a lot of good office players. If I knew then I'd have never hopped in the party with my group when he was there. MAV started harassing me on forums a year or two ago, until I got him community banned for a week or so. That guy really is scummy pos.

It’s the holidays and I have a small family so I had no thanksgiving and probably won’t have much of a Christmas, I feel the way that Hax did but I choose life and continue to push forward. I just recently got into CS and me and my friend/co worker are playing daily and I’ve gotten a lot better at the game. Really appreciate the video and definitely got my sub

man you shouldve got a guy named Randillion to interview. by far the best office player (maybe a little washed right now). guy just wanted to be the best at a map nobody really knew how to play, came up with new strats and had many deep-dives to recover old lost knowledge about smokes and flashes on office.

I dont play as often anymore but a few years back i was playing with a bunch of guys everyday on a community server and just having a blast Hackz was apart of that as well and he was a really chill person whenever i played with him and i didn't actually hear about what happened for a while because i wasnt as active. But im glad i can look back and think of the many moments that took place with him on office

I play office since about 2016. I know and played with all the people you mentioned and it really means a lot. The nostalgia hits me. All the memories I have on this map and with the players. I think Hackz would be proud. I remember during the summers when highschool was over I would play office all summer with my buddies. It was the good old days.
For the ones who are beginning here are some tips to avoid common mistakes:
-while rescuing hostage you can aim around and shoot, it wont interrupt the hostage pick up progress
-office T side is about wasting as much time as possible by smoking and mollying side hall and in front of paper so always buy a smoke and a molly
-when you rescue and hostage and you have to run behind a smoke, wait about 3 seconds to avoid the Ts shooting through the smoke and because if you you will be visible, there is a glitch where that when you run behind a smoke right after picking up the hostage you are visible.

holy shit I never thought id see a video like this about the people ive played with for two years now. all started because me and a friend wanted to become so good at a map nobody played that we would just win off of map knowledge alone. so many great things missed in this video, but overall sums up the experience.
Since I started playing CS:GO in 2017 and Source in 2018, Office has always been my favorite map. It’s not balanced by any means, but it has a charm to it and always a good time with friends
Glad to see office getting some recognition as a fun map to mess around on. In the past 8 years ive played a good amount of office matches and they are always super memorable. Super easy map to play with a ton of easy & satisfying prefire 1 tap opportunities.
Great video! I just wanted to thank you for making a memoriam for Zach (Hackz). He was my best friend, although online, and he touched so many lives. It can never be put into words how much he’s missed. Your words mean a lot. I was the one to call the police for a welfare check and contacted his family. I still can’t bring myself to play CS anymore which sucks but last time I played was with him. I miss office and the craziness sometimes. Again, thank you for the video and including Zach ❤

Hey that’s so cool, I’m friends with Rise/in his community so it’s very interesting to see the involvement. Office has such a rich history. I’ve been playing it since 2016. Also to let everyone here know, if you see Apollo, he’s a notorious cheater, and a guy named Solid Snake constantly ques with cheaters. Also a guy named Neo Nel is a known community cheater but he left for about a year but now he’s making a come back. He’s trying to play it off and trying to get back into the NA office community. Be wary.

This video reminds me of my office phase 6 years ago, I think it was the only map I played, and very quickly I entered some sort of community by just adding people to my friendslist and always queueing with them. Some of them disappeared, just like I disappeared to them. Good times while it lasted. I've only known the EU side of office but it's definitely very similar to NA except maybe more people
