I just got this baby 3 weeks ago & every single day it always anaze me . I feel so safe with the the new features that was added in the 2015 CRV Touring. I'm really very happy with the purchase & I would give the Honda CRV 5 stars out of 5.
I purchased the 2015 CR-V Touring about 10 days ago and just love love love it! I have been looking at different makes and models of SUVs for a couple of years, and this one has all the luxury, safety, and space that I have been shopping for. Your TH-cam video is an excellent resource and review of the instrument panel as well as the special features! Thank you so much for putting this up. With all the features and options, your video is great help for someone who may not be very tech savy (me!).
I just got a 2014 CR-V Ex AWD. I'm leasing it now. Undecided if I'll buy it after the lease is up but I'm seriously considering it. I really do like the new tourings they have now, and who knows when they'll come out with the CR-V touring elite. they already have that trim available in the Pilot now. We also have a 2006 Pilot Ex 4wd and a 2011 Pilot Touring 4wd, so we're a big Honda family with the exception of my moms 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5 Limited edition.
We actually now own this identical CR-V Touring, and we love it. Normally we have German cars, but the tech on this won us over, and the price was very reasonable. It would be good to know when there is a software update for the Honda Link so we can use Apple CarPlay when available.
Depends on how rough you’ll drive but it’s not built for off roading if that’s what your question is. Go for Pilot and you can be real rough and tough within no problems.
At 14:06, you mention centering the mirror select slider switch after positioning the mirrors, yet the dealer told me if you did that, the passenger side mirror would no longer tilt to show the kerbside automatically when you're reversing, so best leave it slid to the passenger side. May be a European only thing, but worth a mention.
like you walkaround video. love this CR-V, but I'll wait for the 2016 model year because the 2015 has vibration issue. One suggestion: Can you do a little test drive on the car that you review. I would love to hear your option on how it drives, handles, etc
I guess you don't know anything about the CR-V's vibration issue. Search on google for 2015 honda cr-v vibration at idle and you'll know. I had that issue and got it fixed through transmission software update by my local Honda dealer.
Anything about solution to vibration issue with 2015 Honda CR-V??? I was thinking about this car but since i found out about it I actually change my mind about it.
I wish they had used Blind Spot Montiors instead of the stupid lane watch. Its only for the right side so it only works for the right and the BSM is alot more practical because when you change lanes you look in the mirror naturally. Also it would give you RCTA but lane watch cant do that.
I agree completely but the con is those radar sensors are quite expensive if something were to go wrong e.g. in snow, car wash since they are prone to dust, water and snow AKA not completely waterproof. It may get temporarily disconnected as well depending on how fast it dries especially in winter. I have a 2012 ML350 with blind spot monitor and the sensors went bad recently. Cost to replace was anywhere between $1800-$2400!!! With the lane watch it has its drawbacks as well especially that it comes only on the passenger side like you said but more seriously it’s annoying in the night as it solves no purpose except for the headlight hitting hard on the camera on the front.
Mike, you do a great job with your videos. I'm looking at a used CR-V to purchase just like the one you are reviewing here. I have heard rumors of suspension issues on the 2015. This one was owned by an elderly couple. Absolutely like new with 18,000 miles and garage kept. Your thoughts?
Nice CR V but i have the 2016 SE about the fog lights,i turn the noob, the inside noob that is,and anything happend,is problems on the system or................ anyone knows?
It’s real time AWD which means it is primarily a front wheel drive. The rear wheels or rest of the wheels only kick in when there is a slippage detected on the stuck wheel/s. It may take a few seconds for the computer to compile the information and then kick in the AWD mode. There is no specific button to activate. Think of this as a cheaper version of AWD compared to more expensive ones like it’s higher version SH-AWD in Acura (which is all time AWD which means all 4 wheels are always running with full power). All time AWDs also include Quattro, Xdrive or a 4Matic which will again cost more.
If you are interested in the CR-V and in the Maryland/DC area, feel free to ask for Andy at Jim Coleman Honda. 443.991.7201. There's several reasons why we sell the most Honda's in the area

Informative! Good review for wife who purchased the CRV 6 mos. ago. She loves the car!
Hey could you do a review on Audi A6 thinking of buying one or BMW X5

how is the 2015 model performance off road?
Is the vehicle good for rough roads
Depends on how rough you’ll drive but it’s not built for off roading if that’s what your question is. Go for Pilot and you can be real rough and tough within no problems.
Can you do review's on Acura vehicles.
Liz Millares I'll try :)

You cannot. It will only move the interior mirror.

Johnson L Thanks for the suggestion! I usually do the test drive video separate... Hopefully I will be able to do one on a CR-V.
Johnson L what do you mean by vibration issues

I have this car and you don't even recognize the vibration. Excellent car. 2016 has issues with gas leaking in with the engine oil so good luck
