Brilliant video. One of my favourite topics (although I myself had 6540 via FUE in 2 surgeries). Key factor is proper assessment and long-term planning.

You have had a very sensible age appropriate hairline. I think you’re really sensible with your transplants mate. In years to come, there will be many guys who are bald except for a densely packed hairline

I actually had 4300 graft strip/fue with Dr Vikram about 2 months ago.
I’m 23, with extensive hair loss and I had the same idea of getting everything I could now and not worrying about the future, especially after seeing those overseas transplant marketing material. I’m very grateful for Dr Vikrams explanation during our consult of what to expect and his seasoned experience.
While my hair line from the surgery was not the flat line that I initially had hoped for I believe the slightly curved look will give me flexibility in the future if I want to have further ops and will leave my donor area looking more natural.

Excellent videos and indeed I use them as citations in my bald-headed community forums.
Two points in relation to your videos.
➤ The best hair transplant surgeons are, first and foremost, psychotherapists, in my opinion.
➤ Mega sessions incorporating beard and body hair weren't discussed.

I don’t speak Turkish but I’m pretty sure this clip lead with an ad for a Turkish clinic and the patient looked to have had his whole head done in a single session. Talk about a coincidence. Buyer beware. As I consider the options I sure hope I can find a team as balanced and considerate as these two professionals in my market.

I've been saving for a hair transplant. Luckily, the hair loss in my family is not severe, but I still have the McDonald shape hairline for nearly 10 years now.

    So Much information. Thank you.
Can you please make a video on RCP (Redensyl, Capixyl, Procapil and Baicapi). As there are so many RCP solutions available in the market.

This is the best video you have produced by far. The number of young patients who are doing there 'research' on social media such as Facebook, instagram, etc has caused an entire generation of young men in their very early 20's trying to find the cheapest surgery in medical tourism in Turkey who will say yes to surgery, only to come back home and find that they have blown their entire donor with a growth yield 12 months later that is at best 20-50% of the grafts that have been harvested. In short they have been robbed and butchered. More effort in education on the reality of hair loss and current medical treatments and the progressive nature of hair loss over the life span needs to be done. More potential patients need to be gently educated that not every patient is a candidate for hair loss treatment and that other options such as shaving your head (with and without SMP) are today in vogue as has been made evident in the main stream media. Thirty years ago if you shaved your head you wouldn't have been able to get a job. Today if you shave your head you need a suit to go with it! What's in vogue today changes tomorrow and when you are in your late teens/early twenties you just don't have the emotional capacity to not only see this but also to have the psychological maturity to understand this yet (hence the juvenile 6cm hairlines requested). Many thanks for sharing!

thanks doctors, how long grafts can stay viable/survive outside of the body after being extracted from the donor area and before they get implanted into the recipient area, considering the condition of keeping grafts in saline water, how long can they stay survive. Thank you

I never see 5000 on a hair line. I do see over 4000 on the whole head frequently. I just watched a guy in Turkey get 2 transplants of 4-5K grafts including from beard hair.
I think you can slow hair loss to the point of no concern by using anti-DHT meds, topical anti-androgen (RU?), minoxidil, and needling/laser.

hi doctors, i know that oral minoxidil is more and more prescribed at low dosage in australia. But is there a big risk of pericarditis on the long terms with low dosage ( such as 2.5 mg)? thanks for your vids

Go to a dermatologist and they will do corticosteroid injections for several months into the patches. That should fix it. They will also give you some creams to apply daily. That's what I did for several years and it worked. But the COVID vaccine brought back my Alopecia with a vengeance. I now have more Alopecia than I ever did before. I went back and got more shots. It will take at least a few months before all my hair grows back. But I do not know what to do about the fact that the vaccine will be causing this every year.

Would a giga session be recommended at age 34. This is assuming that a majority of hair loss would have already happened. I have already got one fut done at age 24 (which covered mostly the extreme front part).

Relax and see your doctor. You will overcome these symptoms over time. They are not permenant. Make sure to exercise everyday, eat well, and meditate daily.
