I agree. I think audio, explaining what you're doing would definitely help people, putting this together, out a whole lot better than just watching fast speed.
Hi love the vid I have a “lifetime 32 youth portable basketball hoop” if I put enough sand in it do you think it can hold me if I hang on the rim? I’m about 80 pounds. It would be amazing if you could respond
I believe if you put a couple bags of sand into it (100lbs) worth it would. I know you can buy regular sand cheap from the hardware store. So yes, if you get enough in there. Also you can fill it up and then put a bag or two on the top of the base. That is what I do and it will surely hold.
I think that will work. If you add stuff to the base and add the sandbags i believe it will be fine. I've had a couple sand bags on mine for extra support.
Just bought this tonight and I had to quit. I bought mine from Marshalls for $80 but I believe it's missing bolts and one of the support poles is missing a hole.
Am confused as to which one to get for my 6 year olds. Do you recommend they go with this or should they start with regular sized basketball system with the ability to lower it to 6 feet. ?
If those kids can’t shoot on a 10 foot hoop how old are they three? At 17:17 Big cringe lol for all my Ballers out there that actually play basketball 👌🏻😂
I think I overtightened the bolt that adjusts the tension of the hoop to the board, furthermore, I placed this on a sloped garage driveway so it could have been compounded by that. I have since loosened the hoop bolt and actually moved the hoop in my hard because my kids didn't want to play on the cement with it (believe it or not). Is that what you were asking?
@@matthewhendershot2009 I'm just considering it for my 5-year-old and people complain a lot about the rim so I found your video and noticed that the rim seems to be sagging a bit right at the 16:50 part after you pulled on it. Wondering if it may have been from the sloping driveway though. Would you recommend this hoop?
Why are the rims bent down and not straight once assembled?? It’s not just your video in all the videos the rim is not straight and angled this can mess a shooters shot up when all other rims will be straight....great video tho
Great question and to be honest, I didn't notice that till later due to it not being in the instructions. There is a bolt that has a spring for rim tension. If you don't tighten it enough, the rim will bend downward. Once I tightened it ( a couple days later) it fixed that issue. I hope that helps.
Nice jumper dad!!
Thanks! 😁
Best part of video is you delivering the facial on your wife at the end. Lol 😂🤣😂
Edward Linzer best part 🤣
Who like that he doesn't have background music
yeah i should have put some kind of music in the background.
Ima get it from Walmart but I was gonna get it from Amazon and looked at review and it had some bad reviews saying it’s missing peices
I was not missing any pieces.
17:33 KOBE!!!!

Ace Pirate put some washers under the spring
Nice job
Thanks rackett gaming!
this starts ok then goes to a fast speed with no audio...can you check it please as I need to assemble mine

How many bags of sands do i need to put?
I think i added 2
It’s awesome I like basketball
Thanks!
Hey I just ordered this and when the rim is bent down do the nuts and bolts loosen? And after I tighten it does the rim bent downward again or nah?
Hey I just ordered mine from Amazon it was great I give it around a 4 star the only thing is it took about 4 hours
Can this fit in an apartment
yes
Does it come with hardware
Yes! all hardware was included.
@@matthewhendershot2009 ok thanks

Can you use a regular size basketball or do you need a smaller one
you can use a regular ball.
Could I get it at target
www.target.com/s?searchTerm=skilz+basketball+hoop
looks like the have similar options
Hi ,just got this and could I put one additional sand bag on the base ,or it will crush the base?what do you think? Thanks.

@@matthewhendershot2009 Thanks I filled 2 bags sand into base so I think it’s good to hold extra sand bag
Would i be able to dunk on it im 4"11 and 83 pounds
Yes. You will definitely be able to dunk on it.
V Reyes I’m 4’11” and 100 pounds I can dunk on 8 foot Lol Same
Kronoavs_ Josh damn you fat
Can you tell me what you need to build it?
normal household tools.
What is the size of the spline wrench?
Pops has a good stroke from range.

Can i hold on rim im 76 pounds how much sand should i fill it up with
If I remember correctly I bought 2-50 pound bags and put them both in.
Can a normal sized ball fit into it?
I’m 4”11, 120 lbs do u think I could dunk on it without falling?
Yes definitely!
can i use a 28.5” basketball or a smaller one?
You can, however there won't be a lot of room for error with a ball that size. smaller balls are recommended for the rim that comes with this.
@@matthewhendershot2009 ok, thank you for letting me know is it possible to buy a new one and replace it with that one?
Where did you get it
He got it from Walmart, check the link in the description
Getting ready to order it I hope I don’t break it having a dunk contest lmao 😂
The rim and spring are pretty durable in my opinion. I've had no problems and many a dunks have been performed.
Hey can a normal size basketball fit in this hoop?
yes. That being said, it is a tight fit with the net.
Ok thank you!

One was 3 and one was 6.
Steele Trick shots they are still young and haven’t fully develop the upper body strength to throw/shoot a fully sized basketball to 10ft
is the hoop sagging right out of the box?!?

I would definitely recommend it. My kids love it (son is 7 now and daughter is 4).
It's the only one that my son could really shoot on so far because it goes so low whereas others don't go as low as this one.
@@matthewhendershot2009 cheers! thanks (subscribed)
Is it good for teenagers that are around 5FT ??
sort of, the pole is not the strongest so i'm not sure how much they would be trying to dunk on it
Matthew Hendershot how long do you reccomend hanging on to the rim for?? im 5’2
@@joelvalencia6738 how much do you weigh?
Matthew Hendershot not sure about 100 pounds
Thankyou sooo much!
Can this fit in a basement
alex, yes it definitely will fit in a basement.
I have the same hoop yes it will even though I play on four different 10 foot hoops at my house
Do you still have the instructions
Not sure. Is there something your looking for?
I want to buy one but the rim looks saggy
yes I realized later that you can adjust the tension on the rim

yep. It can go up to 7ft.
