Hi Dawn…. I really enjoyed this clue, so much so I knit all the brick rows..!!! Of course they are going to be way too long 😂😂 but I’m just going to wear them scrunched down…🤷‍♀️ I also found the edge of the heel flap a tad untidy, but on the second sock I really concentrated on getting wyif and wyib correct and it looks so much better… it involves concentration…🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I also keep my yarn balls one on either side while knitting, I find that helps too… roll on clue 3…🤩🤩

I've got 2 pairs on the go. I think it just as well that there are alternating colours on the side of the heel flap to help pick up the right number of stitches as I did not realise how messy that edge was compared to my regular heel flaps until I got to doing clue 3. I decided to use a 2mm crochet hook to pick them up and place the stitches on my needle.

'Morning! I find the heel flap beautiful, but rather time consuming. It seemed to have taken me FOREVER to finish the flap! 'Don't know if anyone else is experiencing that or I'm just slow.

Yes it definitely took a while and took all of my concentration. The effect is worth it though, it's so unusual 😁😘
