@@Samanthax1221 Thanks for the love, Samantha. These are great questions. The main reason I create content is I just enjoy it. I love the process of writing and creating something new. But there are also business goals attached. The biggest goal is I want to write a New York Times Bestseller and one of the best ways to do that is by having an audience of people who want to read what you have to say. I was not an A student. My GPA through college was 2.8. A couple things. I’ve been struggling with a couple health issues. Something you said, implied, at the beginning of the video is going to help make my health journey easier, a mindset change. You implied that taking care of health is an investment! Gave me a mindset change. An investment, and there’s nothing I like better than investing and getting compound returns. Now, on my health actions too!
Anthony, I came across your stuff today, and I'm planning to center my efforts around your content as my roadmap to success. I share bits and pieces of the story in different videos, but in short, when I first moved into the van, I had no idea I would go into business. At that point, I was working on my first science fiction novel as I thought that would be the solution to my money problem. Turns out, writing takes a long time and it can take years before you make meaningful money... I needed to find a way to make money in the meantime, which is what led to me to starting a window washing business with a buddy.
@@AnthonyVicino Anthony I was thinking of writing a science fiction novel. I actually wrote three chapters, but I started to feel what you described after some research. My writing sucks anyway; I won't bother with that, as I don't have years to waste. Thanks again for your amazing videos, and I love that you responded.
To put forth another perspective, I write fantasy fiction full-time and yes, it did take years for me to get to this point, but that's because I didn't have the knowledge others possessed. Writing isn't a straightforward money-making business by any means, but I make 6 figures now and things are looking up each year, and there's nothing I'd rather do, so putting in the time was well worth it.

I like that you included skills. Here’s why, the truth is that everything in life is a skill. And all skills are learnable. Luckily, the human mind is a learning machine, so that makes all skills available for each of us to learn when we want to learn them.
Thanks for another great video, Anthony! I believe it‘s important to be brutally honest with yourself about what you want out of life. When you break it down into the details, time is almost always the limiting factor, so you have to think about what to invest your time in. Of course I would love to earn the kind of money that makes all my money problems go away. But what‘s going to be the price, time-wise? I am well aware that building a business is the best way to earn a lot of money, because it uncouples time spent working and income. But I could not imagine spending my days doing the things I would need to do. Currently I want to have time to read great literature and practice my writing. That‘s easier to do next to my current 9-to-5 than while building a business, which is, in the beginning, almost always all-in time-wise. So it‘s currently a better trade-off for me to be a „failure“ career-wise to do what I enjoy doing most, as paradox as that might sound.
I think the key to success is that you do what you have to do to reach your goals whatever the steps may be.And I mean anything way outside the box.Throw rules out the window, adapt and use your imagination
Living with chronic health issues does not stop you wanting do all the stuff - but it's accepting that you can't do the same stuff - at the same pace - and learning new stuff.

I haven't watched the video yet, but I've been sick of seeing so many videos titled similarly. It just drives me nuts because it's implying that I should hate where I'm at in life or that everyone is lame and you have potential to be better than them. Egotistical. I'll watch the video eventually because I know your content has a unique taste.
I agree. Really not a fan of "comparing" myself to others in any context. It's just a bad frame of mind. But we followed the trend with this one and tried to add some unique value, so hopefully you end up enjoying it. I appreciate your feedback on the title, though!
It's really rare to bump into such a straightforward channel, content... creator.. : -) Thank you for continuously reinforcing these basics for us! I still need this even tho I feel I have developed a lot..
I really appreciate the love. For what it's worth, the person who learns the most from this content is myself. Still working on all this stuff every single day.
@@AnthonyVicino I bet : ) I have some of my favourite quotes printed and framed on my wall, in case I feel a bit weak.. One of these says: "People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing. That's why we recommend it daily." : -))))) I always loved these simple and witty insights that carry a lot of meaning....
Wow those Mayo Clinics stats had me rewind the video to make sure I wasn't hearing things...2.7%?!?! That's wild! It's a good thing sleep wasn't on there or else I'd be at 4/5 haha but this will be the last YT video I watch tonight, I promise :)
At 8:25 you say "Is a great night sleep worth 21 cents? for me that's a no-brainer" when talking about the cost justification of the Eight Sleep. According to your maths this cost would equate to 1 hour of sleep. In your visuals you show that it actually costs $1.68 a night (at 8 hours of sleep) which is hugely different. I think a correction may be due here so people don't run off to buy an Eight Sleep thinking it is 8x cheaper per night than it is.
Awesome video!!! But your meal prep math is incorrect. The idea is you spend 1.5 hours a week meal prepping a few meals to then eat throughout the week. That way you're not cooking and cleaning every day.
No, that math is correct once you factor in the 15 minutes it takes to make breakfast, 15 minutes to make lunch, 30 minute for dinner, and then 30 minutes it takes to rinse dishes and then load/unload dishwasher. These things add up pretty quick.
Forensic Psychology specifically. I worked in the field for a veeery brief period of time (less than 6 months) and realized it wasn't even remotely a good fit for me. I love psychology, but the application (specifically in that field) wasn't for me.
I can think up stories to write...problem is...I have carpal tunnel and tendinitus in both hands/arms. Essentially, I am unable to physically write anything for more than 3 or 4 minutes at a time without pain. Any recommendations to help me finally write my book (books).
You are so funny, this part about writing is hilarious, I must say that I like more your videos where you talk about your personal views and experiences than videos with quotes and other notorious things. Try more incorporate more your own stuff, thoughts, conclusions etc. and skip stuff that people can find anywhere else. It would make difference and I think would grow your audience.
I'm really psyched to hear you're enjoying the newsletter. Also, I appreciate the feedback on what parts of the content are resonating and which aren't. If you wouldn't mind, could you give a specific example from a recent video that you didn't enjoy?

How much "expansive travel" did you do when you were living in your van. If you can afford "expansive travel" you're already doing better than 99% of people.
I traveled a lot through my 20s as a professional rock climber. Couldn't really afford all the travel, though, which is how I accrued $80k of debt and eventually found myself with no other choice but to live in a van.
@@AnthonyVicino, wow!! With all that you have going on you actually respond to posts on your TH-cam channel?? That's impressive!! I'm 58 and starting on (financially) after a divorce. I appreciate your page. Thank you!! It's actually very helpful!
Well... the title saying it's easy only applies when you have the money. The financial hurdle is the hard part, after that it can be easy. Also, his per hour calculations to justify the expense are correct but completely ignores cash flow. If you don't have the cash to begin with, his calculations are meaningless.
@@AnthonyVicino I agree. The critique I'm making is using the word easy in the title. It only applies after you get cash. Getting cash is NOT EASY. And if you're about to say that getting cash is easy, then you would be displaying an incredible amount of ignorance on how economics works. Getting cash is not easy, and even if it becomes easy to get then purchasing power goes down which means the issue stays in place. All you did in this video is say that it's easy to do things if you have money.
You say a lot and makes your content too complex and grasp. It's just too much explanation for one topic. Your list even is too complicated that made me less into it. For example you called it "vision casting" wtf is that even, just to hear it's simply just writing lol just say Write your vision. You make it so complicated

Exactly 💯 I was like 🤨when I saw the thumbnail cus I have also seen it too
But he do provide value
I think the deeper question is why do you feel so triggered by the title while others see it as motivation.
Hating where your at isn’t ideal but acknowledging you shudnt be there is ideal never let your mind go down
Awesome ! Thnx.
You're welcome!
Wow. My take home pay is $640 per month. You spend more on a meal prep service than I make. I’m shifting gears and adding meal prep as my side hustle.
Do it! Meal prep is a great business model if you love cooking.
Bro, huge props for recommending therapy 👏 🙌 👌
Thanks!
Absolutely fascinating… love the ramble…
Glad you enjoyed it
What's the meal delivery service you use? And yes, amazing content. I'm on fire from this!
We've been using Factor meals for the last 6-8 meals. Friggin love them!
The extensive travel part about being insignificant is literally what I heard Robert Green say on the modern wisdom podcast day before yesterday😆
Too funny. Funny side note: Last time I traveled out of the state was to a weekened getaway with Chris and a bunch of other creators. Small world.
It's really rare to bump into such a straightforward channel, content... creator.. : -)
Thank you for continuously reinforcing these basics for us!
One of these says:
"People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing.
That's why we recommend it daily." : -)))))
I always loved these simple and witty insights that carry a lot of meaning....
What meal prep service do you use?
Factor Meals
Wow those Mayo Clinics stats had me rewind the video to make sure I wasn't hearing things...2.7%?!?! That's wild! It's a good thing sleep wasn't on there or else I'd be at 4/5 haha but this will be the last YT video I watch tonight, I promise :)
That study blew my mind. It's crazy how low the bar for fitness is set.
Thank you so much for creating such amazing videos. I truly admire your talent and the topics you choose to cover.
I'm really psyched to hear you're enjoying the content (and topics!)
Cool, I'm already ahead of 99% of people...except for finances. But that is probably the hardest area for most people my age(young adults).
FInances are definitely the hardest one to solve for when you're young. Give it time.
Hey! What meal service do you use? I plan to investigate what's local to me, but thought knowing yours may give me a head start
I've used a bunch, but for the past six months we've been using Factor Meals.
They've been our favorite by far.
Thanks, just checked them out. They actually look pretty good!
Insightful Just discovered you and yes I have followed Value Settings are everything but yes you need to speak fluent business and money
Psyched you found the channel!
I mispoke. The correction is the text across the screen. Nothing else we can really do here, unfortunately.
@@AnthonyVicino Ah okay, nice video either way! Thanks for providing value for so many people with your content 🙏.
Your last point is similar to the be do have framework, where you can’t do something if you’re not that person
Truth
Awesome video!!! But your meal prep math is incorrect. The idea is you spend 1.5 hours a week meal prepping a few meals to then eat throughout the week. That way you're not cooking and cleaning every day.
No, that math is correct once you factor in the 15 minutes it takes to make breakfast, 15 minutes to make lunch, 30 minute for dinner, and then 30 minutes it takes to rinse dishes and then load/unload dishwasher.
These things add up pretty quick.
Such great content! Thank's a lot!
Glad you enjoyed!!
Didn't realize you had a degree in psychology. What branch, and did you ever work as one?
Forensic Psychology specifically. I worked in the field for a veeery brief period of time (less than 6 months) and realized it wasn't even remotely a good fit for me.
I love psychology, but the application (specifically in that field) wasn't for me.
I can think up stories to write...problem is...I have carpal tunnel and tendinitus in both hands/arms. Essentially, I am unable to physically write anything for more than 3 or 4 minutes at a time without pain. Any recommendations to help me finally write my book (books).
Dictation is probably gonna have to be the path forward.
Thanks for all this information. I couldn't find the link to the 7-figure storytelling blueprint, help?

Never direct your discipline and focus in minor things. A subset of never major in mikor things
This.
lol dude you r a natural iyo. coming from south africa
I really appreciate the love. Thank you!
I love your newsletter, like your writing style and great content.❤
I'm really psyched to hear you're enjoying the newsletter. Also, I appreciate the feedback on what parts of the content are resonating and which aren't.
If you wouldn't mind, could you give a specific example from a recent video that you didn't enjoy?
hi, where is the link to story telling?

We're working on launching a community that gives access to all of my workshops and classes, so I would actually hold off on picking this up (as it will be included in the community) and just join the Apex Collective when it launches in a couple weeks.

Hard work always pay..............
But right now situation not good....
Sorry to hear that
so I am thinking I can use the backside of my todays schedule as the “2nd brain”? for now until I can manage an app
I dig it
pt, gym, meal prep. Not for the average worker then
By definition you can't get ahead of 99% of people by being average.
Get married to a rich elderly woman that's like 80
That could work.
@@AnthonyVicino 😂😂😂
I try. Part of the fun of creating videos is getting to engage with people who are enjoying them. :) Thanks for being here.
Step 1: have money 😂
Certainly doesn't hurt.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
:)
Well... the title saying it's easy only applies when you have the money. The financial hurdle is the hard part, after that it can be easy. Also, his per hour calculations to justify the expense are correct but completely ignores cash flow. If you don't have the cash to begin with, his calculations are meaningless.
Get the cash. Problem solved.
Please don't bring Jesus into this? He's our mighty Saviour and God and came to save us.

Completely wrong about the amount it costs to prep your own meals.
I'm open to hearing how you would break down the math.
You say a lot and makes your content too complex and grasp. It's just too much explanation for one topic. Your list even is too complicated that made me less into it. For example you called it "vision casting" wtf is that even, just to hear it's simply just writing lol just say Write your vision. You make it so complicated
I appreciate you watching. Sorry if it was over your head.
When you use profanity, I lose respect for you. It’s not classy. You are better than that.
