thank you! I used classic compressor of logic, nothing fancy! Mostly is played very quiete and I pushed the preamp! The Snare is the A&f bell, 14 x 4,5! Love it
How do you do that? My snare sounds harsh like it'll rip your head off, my cymbals sound like they'll saw and slice your ears off or deafen you with tinny, harsh treble. Nice!
what drumhead are u using on the snare? sounds great, I love that fast cutting heavy transient sound and im thinking of maybe going for some Evans hydraulics.
I'm hearing more sounds than it looked like he was playing at times on hi-hats. Wonder if he ran a track with himself playing like small shakers, or similar percussive sounds for a click track or metronome? I'm only curious and I'm not in any way attempting to critique this man's playing style or ability.
I figured out, its better have short "dead" sound and if you want, add reverb than trying set record on long and sounding drums. I think, this is way easier.
Someone give that kit a glass of water.
It sounds like someone is a joker, a smoker, and a midnight toker.
Sweet....
Sounds rad dude!
thanks Jake! I love your latest video about Dead Drums! Nice job my friend!
Great sound, awesome swing/touch!

This goes great with big gated reverb also :D
It's gems like this that makes me love Drum TH-cam. Sounds fantastic dude!
Ringo-esque thoom drums. My fave.
I know nothing about drums. But they sound pretty damn drummy to me.
nice one. Random recommendation in my feed but sick
Lovely!
that snare is juicy
You can have the same sound , exactly, by putting towels on the snare and the toms, no need to have an expensive kit ...!
Delicious and piping hot in only three microwaved minutes¡!¡
DAT SNARE THO
Sounds amazing, what compressor did you use to mix this and what type of snare is that?

Really great sound, love it!
Except for the snare maybe, I'd prefer that with much less bottom end.
Sounds like lofi drums, cool though

Basically perfect
my head played "after the storm" by kali uchis listening to this
They would sound good recorded with reverb on a song !
Nice groove ale ale ale
Is there any muffling on the hihat?
Snare and hi-hats sound great, tom's too dry for my taste but still interesting for certain things I guess.
orgasmatic snare
awesome

Can anyone tell me what hats those are
You can always make electronic drum from acoustic...you know....
BUT newer can make acoustic from electronic...you know..
killer tone!
Tasty Tom’s👍
Dead sounds great! Would prefer better hi-hat and cymbal sounds but the drums themselves sound awesome to me!
Cymbals sound great, mate
agreed
cymbals compliment
the kit sound so well
Not to me though
are you sure this hasn't been pirated off in some daw by this time? lol
i just dont understand the point of buying a&f drums at that price for a dead sound. why not just get studio customs and deaden those?
