It's more like their honest approach to love and the world. Most of them are quite imperfect and maybe not ideally what you want to hear, but it is what they really thought or felt. What I really liked about it is that you can really tell where their priorities are at and their personalities just from that. For example Effie, while quite funny to listen to also reveals how vain and proud she is of her physique.
Think about this: Caeldori is going to be reincarnated as Cordelia. Cordelia is going to hypothetically have Robin, - your reincarnation's - child, Severa. Severa goes back in time with your dad, has a baby, you marry Caeldori, your grand child, who is also your to-be-reincarnated wife. This game is weird.
The whole premise of the game is choosing which family you want to fight for. I had to be real careful because I was trying to avoid incest couples. You're just adopted in the Nohr family but it's still ind of awkward.
Caeldori's confession struck me as the most heartwarming out of all of them for some reason, and not just because she's the reincarnation of Cordelia either. It's not funny, not bland, not weird, just plain heartwarming for me. It's Perfect!
The only character Corrin has any bigical relation to is Azura. A it twist that isn't revealed until really late in the revelations path. Although not being related to any of the Hoshidan siblings is revealed when you choose to marry one of them.
